oh my GAAWWWD.

Raw brownies:

1 cup dates

1 cup nuts

1/4-1/3 cup cocoa

water as needed

Process in food processor and add a bit of water (1-2 tbsp) if necessary to process fully.

Press in pan and refrigerate (if it makes it into the fridge)>

Holy CRAP this is good - tastes exactly like gooey brownie dough

I am using this for a pie crust - filling to be determined. Any suggestions?

I'll start a new thread. lol

A filling i liked is coconut and banana. Buy the whole coconut and bust it open. There are probably better methods to take out all the white stuff but i just used a screwdriver. You can wedge it between the cocnut and th shell then pry out big chunks. Mix in 2 banans or more if you like wiht the coconut in a blender and its really good.

You can always use raisins or apricots (or even dried figs, blueberries or prunes) Dates are sweeter, though.
