  1. So I actually gave this a try...2x so far.

It has been quite unbelievable as to what "exited" from my body...the therapist was able to see a lot of old and toxic stuff getting cleared up -- I saw it too

I feel a little better but I have another session booked to clear the rest of it...

any other people who tried this and liked the result? It wasn't really fun or pleasant but I was desperate to try anything to help relieve my horrendous GI system/symptoms!

  2. Carrot juice IS great but I always feel kind of wasteful about juicing them and dumping the pulp. Is it worth finding a recipe to use the carrot pulp or have most of the nutrients already been squeezed out into the juice anyway?

And if not, does anyone have any raw recipes for the pulp? The ones I have found so far are for cooked recipes, soups and bread and stuff.

A company near me makes dehydrated crackers with the pulp (beets, carrots, etc. mixed with flax and things. They're yummy.)

  3. From what I've seen, it is pretty easy to grow & juice wheatgrass &/or barleygrass yourself. If ya did that and/or watched your grass being cut & juiced, then ya could be certain that it was seed-free. Since having the freshly grown & juiced grass is most ideal anyway, maybe this is the best option to explore.

Some day I will buy a juicer!

  4. been there, done that & got the t-shirt. I have been through all the tests (colonoscopy is a walk in the park compared to one of them...) and did a food diary in conjunction with an allergist, etc.

I'm so looking forward to ending this 10-yr GI crap from hell, some day. Oh, to wake up and not spend inordinate hours in a specific room

I have mild Ulcerative Colitis so I have quite a few digestive problems as well and know what you are going through.

Have you been tested for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (such as colitis or crohn's).

Here's a link to a raw foodist who claims to have cured his IBD with raw foods: http://www.paulnison.com/paulsbooks.htm

It's a good idea to keep a detailed food log. it may help pin point some of your food issues.
