  1. LOL Arrrgh, you sure you not Hannibal Lecter in disguise?!
  2. I've been taught my my naturopath that one bm for each meal is good, so you aren't letting food stagnate inside you encouraging nasties to grow, and besides, who wants loads of old meals I usually have 2-3 per day, any less and I feel bloated. What must these omni's intestines be like as many people think its normal to go several days without visiting the bog!
  3. I know of a naturopath (as I am training to be one herself) who through her training and knowledge has cured herself and many others through lifestyle change and herbs of endometriosis. I've heard good reports of success with this type of treatment. This is quite a simple link from a website I've found with every cure both holistic and allopathic. http://www.endometriosis.org/treatment.html If I can find out any herbs that are good etc, will post them later. A couple of things that spring to mind off the top of my head as good treatments as ginko as it increases the circulation and accupuncture.
  4. Thanks everyone for the help. Have tried everything from holistic and herbal remedies, and was also on several courses (reluctantly) of antibotics, but for some reason nothing seems to be working. Am keeping up the irrigation in the hope that it works.
  5. Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Yep is certainly a crazy house and never a dull moment with all the animals. Have managed to get a cool avatar Flanders, to go with the name!
  6. Was wondering if anyone had any tips for sinus probs...... I've been left with severe sinus pain in my left side over my cheek and eye since a recent ear and sinus infection and my naturopath and doc think it could be due to a cyst that was found last year, which has been aggravated and is pressing on my optic nerve. Anyone have any ideas of what to do for sinus pain or sinusitis. I've tried irrigating it frequently with salt water and had some reiki and lymphatic drainage, but it seems to be getting worse. Thanks
  7. I do yoga as I find that very beneficial, read a comical and lighthearted book, have a cup of camomile tea, have a cuddle with one of my animals and more recently have started training to be a Reiki Master and am currently at level 1, so do a self-treatment on myself.
  8. Fresh air, especially if I'm on a long drive, lively loud music, plenty of mineral water, an emergen-c vitamin drink always perks me up, going for a walk, but the easiest of all an ice cold or really hot shower.
  9. I've started doing yoga a few months ago and absolutely love it. I normally do a basic hatha yoga class, but I recently did an ashtanga class and loved it. Anyone else do different styles who would like to share opinions and benefits as I am really looking for a style? Also, I have read that kundalini yoga can be dangerous, why is this? Thanks
  10. Am so sorry to hear of your loss. I would be devastated if anything happened to any of my animals. I hope this brings you some comfort. It was sent to me recently when one of my rabbits died. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...
  11. I'm Tiggerwoos from the UK. I live with my partner, 2 border collies, 4 cats, a bunny and 3 fish, all rescue and all mad. I've been vegan since new year after being veggie 9 months and in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, doing cardio, swimming, yoga and walking. I am also training to be a naturopath and reiki master and help out at a local rabbit rescue. Look forward to learning, reading and posting here. Nice to meet you all Clare
