yep. I decided to stain the body (red mahagony) and neck (dark walnut) and so far its looking fantastic.

I am suprised at how Ive managed to transform the guitar so far, its coming along great.

my old guitar was all cracked and stuff, and I cant afford to buy a new one. so I am totally making a guitar. my friend sold me a body/neck for 40 bucks that he had made. for $40 its in alright shape with few dings and scrapes, uneven sanding job. not the best, but I can deal with it. Ive never made a guitar before, and I am just gonna learn it off the top of my head.

I am take parts from my old guitar and trying to put em on the one I am making.

I have to:

-drill new holes for all the switches and input

-modify the old pickguard multiple times

-sand down the end of a head so its not some uneven point

-split the wires and rewire em together for the pickups (since I do not have a torch or solder)

-ground the wiring

-put headstock tuners on

-sand the body and neck

-paint the body and neck

-gloss the paintjob

-lots of other modifications to get the parts to fit.

should be fun. hehe. I love learning stuff like this. I hope I can actually finish this and I dont screw anything up

do any other bodybuilders here constantly get people that assume since youre vegan, you have to be on steroids?

I am always having to explain that I am vegan, straight edge, and all natural. I do not use steroids, and I dont even consume caffeine.

 

I really want to pierce something again on me, possibly my lip

 

I have to say, I personally find lip piercings irresistable. Actually, I can attest the same is true for many of my friends as well. There's just something about it!

these are my opinions on some piercings and are not intended to offend at all:

I love septum piercings, and stretched lobes on girls, (and the occasional lip or eyebrow). I think those threee are sooooo adorable.

I myself wanted my septum done but I have a deviated septum and broke my nose 3 times (you cant even tell, right?) but the end of my nose is sensitive, if you touch it I will have "pins and needles" feeling for a while. so anything related to piercing it would be uncomfortable. plus I dont want it to get ripped out/ or hit like my lip piercing had been done (which I no longer wear. you can see a small scar if you look close enough).

played out piercings that only work on select handful of girls if done right:

eyebrow, bottom lip (side), cartlidge, navel

piercings I can't stand:

monroe, surface, nipples, genitals, multiple lip piercings or center lip piercing

I really want to pierce something again on me, possibly my lip but I am gonna be working in a gym and I know that wont be accepted, but I dont want to take it out and risk it closing up. anyone know about a clear retainer or something I could put in it??

also I thought about the eyebrow, but I think Id look like trash, plus I heard that over time it makes your brow droop due to the weight

8th continent isn't vegan.

 

it used to have Vitamin D3 (sheep sweat). after numerous emails and complaints from vegans, they now put regular vitamin D in the soymilk and not sheep sweat.

I checked recently and all the 8th continent chocolate soymilks I could find said vitamin D on it, in place of the usual vitamin D3. I havent checked the original or vanilla flavors, so Im not sure about those but imagine they are now vegan as well.

this is an exerpt from the nutritional plan send to me from one of his clients.

"Breakfast

 

Start off by squeezing one lemon into a 8oz of filtered water. This is excellent for cleaning out the system and getting rid of excess mucus before eating.

 

30 grams of protein powder (rice or whey is fine and pea protein isolate is also excellent. you can get that at http://www.vegansolutions.com ) mixed with 8oz of almond milk and 4oz of water (no rice or oat milk in the morning (Too much sugar). Add one tablespoon of Barlean’s Omega Man Organic Oil Add in ½ cup of frozen fruit (I recommend frozen pineapple, mango, or, papaya, strawberries or peaches. I recommend that you rotate fruits daily for variety). Also, add ½ tablespoon of Vitamineral Green.

 

***Don’t add anything else to the above mix. No Soy yogurt etc.
