It's not a harmless cult to the women that say their leader brainwashed them into rape. -David -

Saw this on food fight...Holy crap... "Vegan Sundays at Los Gorditos So, heres our chance. Taqueria Los Gorditos (50th and SE Division) is trying out being exclusively vegan on Sundays to see how it flies. Limited hours, from noon to 3pm. But only vegan items served. Let's all get there and show them their business could thrive with a veg*n menu only. We have their vegetarian and vegan menus here if you want one. And you can call in orders now too. Yay."

I hate to put down on a recently dead guy, but we ate at their resturant in SD all the time and I think they claims about him are crap. In San Diego they organized a huge free concert in San Diego and spent weeks promoting the event as this "music that was amazing beyond words." The music was out of tune, silly and people were leaving in droves. I know this kinda mean to point this out but it left me thinking he was full of crap. -

This is the problem with veganism for selfish health reasons. As an ethical vegan there can be no such thing as cheating. Remember if you cheat you are not just cheating on yourself by giving in to weakness but also cheating on the planet and animals that will be abused to provide you with a craving. -David

Quinn Wrote Story of B a quasi-sequel to ishmael that is quite a bit better if you ask me. As novels they are not that great as books they are cool. In other words if it were not for nthe concepts put forward there is not much story there. Before reading Story of B I thought Humans were evil, after I saw that it was not that humans are inheritly evil it is a result of our "Culture" that teaches us to behave the way we do. -David

Lets not forget that wegmans wa involved a pretty serious cruelty case that Compassion over killing was investigating. People should always support local co-ops when ever possible.

When I lived in syracuse their were rumors that the owner of Wegmans daughter was vegan. Is it true I have no clue. -David
