robert
I know we have a thread similar to this about goals in 2006, but I wanted to put a general one out there. These don't have to be associated with fitness but just general New Years Resolutions. Do you have any you want to share? I usually don't make specific ones just on January first, I tend to set goals all year round, as most of you do, but there are some that I like to write down and focus on as I start the new year. I'll try to come up with some over the next few days and post them. Feel free to share some of your goals or resolutions for 2006 here! All the best in the New Year! Much Love, Robert

compassionategirl
Turn Jonathan into a Baptist Priest!!!!! Break some bad habits and distance myself a lil bit from some addictions (no not drugs or anything like that). Work on getting treatment for my OCD, as diagnosed by sinista kung fu. and once all of the above is accomplished, go on the Sound of Music Tour in Austria. Jay
I've sort of changed here recently. I've quit stressing out. I'm going to continue to not stress out. Even though impending doom is near, heck, it's always near anyway, one way or the other. Also if I ever get a job again, I'm going to invest some money into some synths, etc and start recording music again.
chesty leroux
In addition to my first resolution I want to get my fitness program back on track and hopefully take off about 30 pounds. SeaSiren
1) To get rid of all the clutter (things I don't need/use or don't love) out of my house, yard, store, & warehouse. The prospect of relocating this past year had me in a complete panic as I looked around at everything that would have to be moved! I have broken the house, yard, store & warehouse down into areas deciding, if I was moving would I really want to move this or would it be charity or even trash. Or, if I use it / have used it in the last year, or "love" it. I don't care for knick knacks (more to dust) so lots to get rid of. I have completed the kitchen, dining room, & living room. I'll do the next area this week. The items are immediately loaded for donation or disposal in my vehicle, and I make a charity run once per week. A few pieces of furniture got a "free" sign on them and were placed out front. Everything has been gone in the first few hours. 2) Organize all my records. Taxes for the last 7 years. Insurance policies, etc all in one location. Will & Living Will up to date and noterized with copies to the appropriate persons. Lastly looking into pre-paid funeral arrangements so my Next of Kin will not have to worry about wishes/details etc if, heaven forbid, something should happen to me this early in life. I also wil have a list of where to find these documents sealed with my lawyer. I have broken this down into monthes to be completed by end of June. SeaSiren
I was looking into relocating about 5 miles away. Delaware offers no sales tax, low property tax and low personal tax. Unfortunately, or Fortunately (time will tell) I had not found the right property. I had also since been informed that our largest Dive Charter Boat in the area has just been sold. They were offered an amount they couldn't refuse due to the amount of boats being replaced in the south due to the Hurricanes. They were launching out of DE, so this may change everything. My Instructors are now telling me how I should invest in a Dive Boat, but I can't get the numbers to work out the way they need to for me to make that kind of investment. So the saying goes "a boat is a hole in the water where you throw your money". So for now I stay in OC.

veggymeggy
1) definitely going to rock the 4.0 gpa this term2) going to do so by going to ALL my classes (I've never made it through a term without skipping some) 3) getting back to the gym 5 days a week4)working absolutely positively NO more than 25 hours a week during school (preferably 20 or less)5) learn to run, ski, and snowboard6) do so by rehabilitating my knee to the point it is able to do such activities7) Pay off all credit card debt.Visit Jessica (best friend in the whoooooole world, haven't seen her since I flew her out to visit on New Years 04) Numbers 5 and 6 are iffy. I'm genuinely concerned that my 'bad' knee will never let me do these activities without prohibitive amounts of pain. However, I'm willing to put the work in to fix it, and I may finally go see a sports medicine specialist, like my mom has been telling me to do forever. Also, may look into a chiropractor to see if anything might be able to be done about the little issue I have with my sciatic nerve! It's a long list, but I'm sticking to it!!!! CrispyQ
I was looking into relocating about 5 miles away. Amazing how moving 5 miles away or across the country is almost the same amount of work. I want to declutter too. I have way too much stuff & I'm embarrased to admit that I pay monthly for a storage bin. My good friend laughs & says I will die with that thing. Arghh!! I hope not! I've been moaning about it for a couple of years now, so I would like this to be the year that I clean it out, get rid of the stuff in there & get rid of those monthly payments! My first resolution is to get my figure back & I have a good start on that & am psyched to keep up with the progress already made!
chesty leroux
I want to get back in to my art. My music, writing, painting and photography have all been lost in this race of the rats. I want to start a revolution. I want to meet people with passion and beautful hair. I want to forget regret and take pain and sorrow for their lessons and fall in love a thousand times and stop running away from life in my dreams. robert
WOW!!! Jonathan, I didn't realize you were that BIG. Awesome man! You will be up there with Kalani in the over 270-lb club. I wish I could join, but I'm far from it. Best of luck man, I know MH is around 240 and Ryan is also in that range I think. I would trade my shredded muscle and veins for serious MASS anyday! Best of luck to everyone with their goals for 2006. I'm still thinking about mine -Rob
