pelicanAndrew
I'm looking into grip training to get some nutty forearms. I'll probably slap it on to the end of a few workouts per week. Any equipment i should buy for this? Any workouts? I used to do something where i'd wrap a piece of rope with a 10 pound weight at one end around a piece of pipe freshmen year. Wonder if there's anything else i can do that wont screw with my wrists too bad.
Odidnetne
Rob did massage therapy, which he credits to forearm growth. I've been reading into massaging a bit, and might try it sometime. Even though I have a lady friend, there are a lot of females I work with that said they'd have no problem letting me. Last I checked though, I also think that Rob surgically had garden hoses put into his forearms too. You can do wrist curls, which I like doing, you can put a towel around a dumbell when you use it, which is like grip training. Hammer curls hit the forearms, and you can just do things like hanging from a bar or holding yourself up on a dip rack, those really work them too. pelicanAndrew
Ooooo i love me some hammer curls. I think we may have a thick bar in our weight room. Hopefully it will be open today. Snow is nice but not when it interferes with my workout.
willpeavy
Lately for grip I've been using the monkey bars at a local playground. Also I asked for one of these for Xmasukah http://www.ironwoodyfitness.com/hand_grips.html

jonathan
Grip work will make your forearms grow significantly. Maybe not quite as quickly as specific forearm work, but then you at least have a practical strength at the end of it Jonathan

wannalift
wrist rollers are the bicep curls of forearm work. do either pinch grip, crushing, or nail bending for real results.
