ronnie kray
James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured "Godfather of Soul," whose rasping vocals and revolutionary rhythms made him a giant of R&B and an inspiration for rap, funk and disco, died early Christmas morning. He was 73. http://www.freestylegrooves.com/pic/james%20brown.jpgRIP James Brown

rico12
I heard about it this morning. I work with people who've never heard of James Brown...absolutely incredible. I grew up listening to oldies. But how do you NOT know him, even if you didn't grow up that way?!? My sister told me yesterday morning. Apparently she was online waiting for everyone to wake up so she could open presents.
