I had mapped distance on mapmyrun.com, but took a few twists and turns along the way. I walked for a few bits, but then started running again, and it was a hot one.1215-1- I actually ventured into the weight room!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, i love working out with free weights, barbells, machines, cable systems, hammer strength, etc, but when I finish work I have to get out asap. Here is what I did! Mostly it was 3 sets 8 reps.3 sets- bench press- 20lb free weights3sets- one arm bent over row, used bench3sets-seated hammer strength chest press machine- 40lbs?3sets- back cable row- 40lbs,50, 503sets- incline bench- 15lb free weights4sets- back extensions- used 6 lb medicine ball 2 sets, then body weight 2 setswalked about 1 mile to where my mom works Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hsorlando Posted September 26, 2010 Author Share Posted September 26, 2010 It feels a bit weird going to the Y now that I don't work there, but I'm sure that this feeling will go away soon. Had an awesome Step class, and then an equally awesome Body Pump class which basically beat me up, and then spit me out. I felt like it was one of my first times in the class. I'm quite exhausted for feminine reasons but I did keep my weights the same as I usually do. I have not taken a BP class in over a month I think. The chest track was excruciating, and the back wasn't that much better. I loved every minute of it though, Today I am totally sore all over!!!! Almost every time I take a class I am sore all over the next day, and sometimes the day after. It is a great strength endurance class. It's not easy holding a 50 pound barbell for up 3-5 minutes while squatting the entire time. Same goes for all the other muscle groups. Don't remember what I've exactly been eating, although it's pretty much the same boring food i usually eat.Thursday- Moved boxes, and loaded and unloaded U-Haul in under three hours. lot's of lifting, squatting, stepping up on, and off truck, carrying boxes etc. I have the bruises to prove it.Friday-Got dropped off at my empty apartment- and quickly finished cleaning.9am-walked 1 mile to where my mom works, walking my bike with its flat tiresBreakfast- coffee, luna bar1130am- walked back to apartment to hand in keys, and get my security deposit back1215pm- walked again to where my mom works Saturday- weighed myself after eating tons of cookies from my party I only gained 1 pound I was quite grateful it wasn't 5 pounds930am- ZumbaDrunken Monkey- vegan breakfast burrito, vegan scone, coffeewalked a lot this afternoon at an art festival a friend told me aboutthen walked back probably about 2 miles to my new location w/family Sunday- Step, and Body PumpBP was a new release, and I quite agreed w/ instructor harder than the past few releases. Lets just say the lunges got my glutes, and the shoulder track just about left me trembling. That's how the workout went. Got to gym early, and after I briefly talked to a friend that was leaving and had said that he ran for 6 miles I ended up running faster than I usually run. Run was a little under 3 miles. I think I'm back on track with my eating though, so that's good.Saturday I took a Zumba class, went to Whole Foods, and then went to an art festival near where I live. Then I walked around for an hour than walked about 2 miles or so home. It's hot again too!
