Richard
Due to the large volume of spam (and the graphic nature of the content of the spam) I have decided to personally activate new users. We are looking for a better solution which should be happening in the next week or two, but for now I think this is the best thing to do. I just deleted about 100 spam topics, and they just keep coming. So if you are new to the forum, you can still sign up, but it will just take a little while for me to get round to activating your account. I'll check up on it maybe 4 or 5 times a day to see if there are any valid users waiting for activation. Hopefully this will prevent spammers from posting at all, we'll see if it works. Sorry for the slight inconvenience, but I think we've all had enough of seeing this pornography clogging up the place. Thanks to syrlinus for helping us with the better solution which will be coming soon - and thanks to all the people who have volunteered to help delete the spam we've been having. Richard
It seems to be working. More spammers are signing up, but they aren't activated so they can't post
beforewisdom
They seem to like names with underscores. Just let em rot and delete them at your leisure.

Marco B
Yeah you have the captcha image on the sign up page so that should have slowed them down!
Barb123
I'm confused of how to upload an image from tinypic.com. It keeps saying URL not valid. Any ideas??
