  1. Every time I hear from people undergoing some sort of personal struggle or trauma I advise them to get physically active, work it out in exercise, and it's a win-win scenario: you get to fit into all your old clothes and at the end of it you feel vaguely sane.

Damn right, all my pants fall of now that I lost that toned big butt of mine.

Seriously, I lost a lot of weight. Some lose and some gain after a struggle, but either way both will most likely feel good after getting themselves involved in some regular physical exercise.

Ryan, I loved your text. Would have so much to ask, but too tired to think so I'll just leave it like this. Your rant was very enlightening to me and made me want to try and work even harder next time.

Thank you for the response! On a daily basis, I waver back and forth as to whether or not I want to gain any size so obviously, the amount I'm eating isn't too consistent either. My body fat is pretty low so I guess the reason my abs aren't showing is because they're not big enough? What do you think?

Well, yes. Usually women have it harder to get to the point where their abs are showing and usually the first thing to do is to make them bigger - and then get ripped. If you're just burning the fat out you'll just end up looking like a starved kid with no breasts. As your boobs would be long gone before you could see your tiny abdominal muscles.

So I recommend you to try working out those abs with added weight and more protein (and calories) to your diet to get them grow. Try to get some healthy fats as well - your brain needs it. Try a tea spoonful of flax seed oil per day and raise it to two or more tablespoons per day as you get used to the taste.

And don't worry about your thighs - the reason they look big to you is because it's your anorexia talking and you shouldn't listen to what it says. You don't have the need to measure yourself in any scale right now. Instead of thinking of how your body is, think about all the things your body's able to do and what you want to be able to do in the near future. And you need a strong body to be able to do so. Strong and well-being body. And you're able to get it, you're strong enough to beat the anorexia out of you and be healthy and happy for the rest of your life.

Your thighs look really great and strong and surely it's due to all the running and cardio you do. You should be proud of how they've turned out to be. if you want to balance your body somehow then you should start building your upper body. Don't worry, it takes years and steroids to get huge. But trained arms and back look amazing!

But remember, you're strong and you can and YOU WILL BEAT THIS!

  3. She might be a bit more filled out, if there was more fat in her body. It's more like her being older her skin doesn't recover after the weight loss as good/fast as when you are younger.

Her bodyfat is very very low and you can easily get to show abs even with more bodyfat than that. You just have to build size. And that's what I'd recommend you to do as well.

I know the feeling you might have about your legs. To me my eye sore is my hips, which I think are too wide when compared to the rest of my body. So I try to build size to my upperbody to get the attention away from my hips.

Though I don't think your legs are fat - not at all. Your legs look very solid and muscular, not fat. I'd love to see you going to the gym and start building size to your muscles. You'd look really good, I'd say.

  4. I agree with the others that it doesn't look bad at all. Frankly I would be suprised that any girl would even notice that or would have anything other than what you've already heard from here to say about it. Many people have something they consider "wrong" in their body. I, too, am overly obsessed and upset with some things in my body that many would and do find ridiculous to be upset about.

  5. I think you should, for your own good, stop counting calories. It's bad for you. Instead do as above there have been suggested, fruit smoothies and lots of nuts and more protein. I'm so sorry to tell you that you're going to add more weight and you will need to put on more muscle and also fat so that you'll be able to look lean.

What you'd need to do is stop looking at yourself from the mirror, stop thinking of calories and how much you spend on elliptical. It's going to be hard, but it's going to be worth it.

Have a decent breakfast, it'll keep your strength up and you won't binge later. Oatmeal or porridge or other grain-type dish. And a whole plate and not just nibbling.

Add more tofu, nuts, legumes and other protein-rich food to your meals. Forget about the calories. Most endurance athletes eat three times as much as you do and won't get fat. Neither will you get fat. You'll get fit and healty to your own natural weight. And get the muscles you need.

Remember as a vegan to eat your calsium and D-vitamin pills! Even overdose with them, it's not gonna kill you.

Before going to the gym eat something. You're eating a lot of empty carbs, but I'm sure it's because you're starving yourself and when you starve yourself you really grave for something sweet. Try eating whole grain and those protein-rich foods.

Anyway, I feel for you, you certainly are not the only one here, who feels this way. Even people without any ED feel themselves fat some days. It's normal even though we in ED-recovery panic about them just because we think it's a step back. Just accept that you don't have to feel good about your body every day. And don't let those thoughts let you down.

  6. Does vitamin tablets really work ? Can the body really use vitamin C in a pill just like vitamin C in an orange?

Obviously it can as the pill dissolves in your stomach and so it mixes up with everything else you've eaten and thus your bowels are able to use it as they are able to use the vitamin C in an orange. But orange is not just vitamin C and thus it's a better deal to eat oranges than just rely on pills for not even modern medicine knows all the things a human body needs to thrive.

I use vitamin C pills to cure early stages of bladder infections for the pills I have contain over 1600% of DV. Much easier than having the same amount of vitamin C by eating oranges.

  7. Your core looks great like that, darlin'! Don't get all stringy and six-packy. Smooth, silky lines look fantastic on a firm feminine form. No need to look like a ladder, leave that to the XY's. Ha, ha!

    Herc

It's not like I'm seriously getting low fat. It's just that I've had problems with eating due to stuff I wrote to my log (Post-traumatic Stress) so I lost a lot of weight and fat.

  8. Currently looking like this:

I haven't fitted into those bikinis since my early teens so I was shocked to see how thin I've become and had to take a picture of it.

Even my belly button has reformed for it used to be pretty deep and nowdays it's much flatter and I can feel my abs better and maybe even see them better. Like a month ago my back looked amazing after the hard work-out I did for months and for the loss of fat.

Don't mind the mess, it's been rough times.

  9. It seems like forever since I last logged into VBB and since my last update.

I had a pretty bad experience a few months ago. For which I'm now obligated to be in touch with the police, for I was assaulted (twice) and now I have a case of Post-traumatic Stress I guess. Having a really hard time eating and everything else is fucking messed up.

Stress has made me weak and all the work I've done in the gym is running down the drain for the reasons stated above.

My goal is to recover now and after that get back in shape and train boxing and get myself swol.

  10. You should ask some nutrition tips from tuc you know? To become as big as he is.

Lol funny you say this, because when I came back in Montreal I bought some food including some chick pee flower (I know its not the right way to right this ) and this morning I ate the exact same thing he cooked for me when I was over there. Some sort of chich pea pancake with onions.

You bought some chicken urine? Is that even vegan? lol, I know the recipe you're talking about. Or at least the base, I don't know what else tuc puts in his pancakes. You can put all kind of things in it. It's like an omelette. I would suggest mushrooms if I didn't know you don't like them. Is it because they grow in the dark?
