  1. Seriously though, its 2:45 am and I am sitting here eating a popsicle crying ever so slightly due to the fact that my shoulder is twice the size its sposed to be.

    So here is what happened to the best of my knowledge.

    They gave me a nerve block which was sposed to prevent me needing to be put totally under, but the dude didnt block it along the dermatome that the surgeon cut, so my only thought is the way they found this out is by slicing through my goddamned skin and waking me up, though I do not recall this.

    Then after the procedure the doc came out and told my wife and ma that they could see me in 5 minutes but 2 hours later they still didnt, why you ask, because my o2 was low and my vitals dropped to dangerously low places.

    So once again, I dont remember any of this, but down went a tube into my airway to pump my ass with oxegen.

    The pain is so fucked that percocets arent even glazing the surface.

    Oh well life goes on, I just figured you folks in VBBF world would enjoy a good read

  2. I have got surgery today so I didnt ever beat gfxlonghorn, didnt even try due to my camera man being on a freight boat on the great lakes.

    So the winner is gfxlonghorn, congrats dude, now lets see someone challenge this dude

  3. I did right before surgery today, which blows, my arm is now useless.

    One way to train for it is to be able to do mad pullups, then you can grab the bar with say your right hand, and grab your right wrist with your left and do pullups, and eventually you can just use the right

  4. Well I just finished my last workout

    Here are the chest day and ab and arm day results, fuck I am sad.

    Flat bench dumbell press-70*4 60*10

    Incline dumbell press 55*6

    Decline dumbell press 50-15, wouldve done more but fear of shoulder popping out kind of intense at this point

    Flat dumbell flyes 30*10

    Incline machine single arm 70*8

     

    Abs

    Side bends 45 lbs plate *15 each side

    Standing rope crunch 120*15

    Seated twists holding a 12 lbs dumbell 15 each side

    Low abs crunch 25 per set

     

    arms

    Barbell curl for size 90*4

    for stamina 70*8

    Seated barbell curl 60*10

    Concentration hammer curl 30*10

    Wide grip curl 70*10

    Skull crusher 70*8

    Tricep press 150*10

    Rope press 110*10

    wrist curls (flexor group) 30*30

    (extensor group) 20*15

     

    Thats it before surgery tomorrow.

    I appreciate all the comments I have gotten, and all the views also, for some reason this has been very very stressful for me, none before really have been.

    Lifting has been my life solid for about a year and it makes me horribly sad to know that I will watch some of this progress go down hill, which is why I started this log.

    Either tomorrow or the next day I will have a pic of the damage done from the surgery, untill then I sit and wait.

  5. Ok todays the last day before I get cut, 7:30 am tomorrow.

    Shoulder day yesterday, I took it easy since my shoulder can fall out whenever it deems good to do so.

    Shoulder dumbell press, arnold style- 35*10

    Lat raises- 20*10

    Rear delt raises-10*10

    front delt raises- barbell- 70*10

    shrugs-230*10

    seated shrugs dumbell machine-140*10

    Thats it for the last shoulder day

  6. Hey man I feel for you, I dont know what your feelings are on alternitive healing but I know personally of people who got a lot of relief of lyme disese with acupunture.

    Besides that I think you can do a lot of good with the lifts you can do I just feel you are getting in the way of you, you dig?

  7. Ok so I had what I figure will be my last back day so here are my best lifts for back.

    160*1 for lat pulldowns, 145*10 normal lat pulldowns.

    100*10 close grip bent rows

    140*10 rows

    Then I do lower trap work that I cant really name but it used close grip pullys above my head and thats 35lbs for 15

    And I also do middle trap rhomboid work using a row machine and thats 70lbs each arm for 15

    Single arm rows 70*10 each arm.

    And thats about it for back folks.

    On a side note Pantera is the greatest band ever

  8. Lets see, this is my 3rd shoulder, I had 2 catarac surgeries, tonsils, wisdom teeth, umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, some weird thing where they stuck a massive needle in my stomach, stuck a needle in my toe and cut it all open, and 2 that I dont really want to talk about.

    Yeah needless to say its kinda hard to get painkillers that work now
