  1. thank you all very much, and please keep it up, the more info the better.

and rob arnt you a graduate of massage scholl in this state, any info on the laws man, i see you guys need 500 hours and a written and practical.

and i know the state excepts the national cert, i just need specifics, like availability of oppertunities in this feild

  2. So my wife and I are thinking about moving out west, and since a large percent of you fellow veg lovers are from this area I have a few questions.

    1. What is the cost of living, apartments, food, taxes, ect.

    2. Who has information on Oregons Massage Therapy laws and license policies.

    3. What is the general availability of jobs in this feild, or in general.

    4. What the heck is winter like there, cause it is horrible here in the Cleveland world.

    5. One of the most important, does it kick ass there or what?

    Tom

  3. I give it an 11 for exellent arm shaking effort.

I am glad to see that others are taping this stuff now, so just for shits and giggles, if someone tapes a score above 15 by august 23rd ( I picked that date because I have surgery soon after and I will need at least a week to train for this) I will attempt with all my might to take the new score down.

Just for fun of course, this is a pull up challenge right

  4. Ok here is the video, its sideways because I couldnt figure it out, not exactly smart with the computers.

I struggled on the last few, but I still had to take it to failure, it was on a back day so I was kinda tired, and its in my house instead of the gym so I didnt have my real wide grip bar.

  5. we figured out how to flip it, and even put music to it, but when i uploaded it it was the original sidways one, even though i deleted that file after i saved the correct one.

tried various things and it just wont fly.

i will probebly just redo it, but i wish i didnt have to

  6. its saying it cant import the video because its not a supported type of file, i will have my genius wife look at it later, the video quality sucks, maybe i will just do it again, eh.

  7. So I recorded a video for the pullup challenge and it came out sideways, and I cannot figure out how to change this.

Seems the only program it opens with is quick time.

    any clue?

  8. When you hang fully extended at the bottom of a pullup, or any lift, you take the chance of damaging the tendon, this has a lot to do with the attempt to override your Golgi Tendon Organs, they register strech and when you are to far streched they attempt to shut the muscle down, but you are telling the muscle to power up, but of course we all know that to be a "man" its no pain no gain right? The best way to not rip your lats from the bone is to have a slight flexion, and yeah I said slight, but either way is cool by me, but you wont see me fully extended, I got enough problems as is.

I am going to attempt to get this video on sunday, but it will for sure be before Sept 8th, thats surgery time.

    Peace

  9. Here are some of my tattoos, there not as cool as a Kat Von D tat, but I like em.

  10. top of your shoulder is your acromion and your clavical meeting, hense AC joint.

your acromion is part of your scapula.

the popping can be nothing or it can be scar tissue breaking apart, see when we injure ourselfs and our body is attempting repair tissues tend to weeve together on accedent because they are trying to repair real fast. this can also happen when you are immobile for some time, or stay in the same spot for a while, one of the causes of the capsule weaving on itself in frozen shoulder.

what i would suggest is that you may have damaged the capsule around your joint or possibly labrum.

    what exactly did you do?

and oh yeah, stop doing front raises
