  2. I only know how to do some basic things with Parkour. So to answer your question, yes, I would love to learn more about Parkour. It's fun to watc, but if you are properly conditioned right it's even more fun to do it.
  3. Went for a long walk with my little Jack Russel. I think I went too far with him though. He has a lot of energy that little bugga.
  4. Thanks I love the beggining song. I think it's awesome. I have it on my Ipod.
  5. To answer both your questions. I think it all depends how you do. it. I know a friend of mine who's a dancer told me a couple of times how to properly land. That you have to keep in mind also. Proper stretching is also a must too, as well as proper muscular and cardiovascular fitness. I think that's with anything, It comes in handy though when practicing martial arts, because heaven forbid a group of guys jump you or someone pulls out a knife or a gun on you. I forget who said it, but "the less you sweat in the gym, the less you bleed on the battlefield."
  6. First, what do you exactly mean by "if I wasn't afriad of jacking myself up?" I guess it all depends on your goals right? Second, I'm pretty sure you've seen this video right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVQNt64PxfE
  7. I know I haven't been updating in a while, but latly I've been doing some Parkour due to the warmer weather outside. I posted a thread about it on the martial arts section. If anyone knows about Parkour or does it themselves, I would love to know about it.
  8. I needed today. By that I mean today I went to a lake with a friend of mine. I went for a swim and to a hike around the national park areas of the lake. From there I got plenty of exercise despite the fact that I think the veggie burgers I ate wern't exactly veggie burgers
  9. Anyone ever try it, have experiance with it, or know about it? I'm curious because I do practice Hung Gar, which is more facing your apponent head on martial art. Parkour is good because heaven forbid you need to avoid a situation and get away from something as much as possibe. BTW I'm no expert at it and do not know everything about it myself. That's why I started this thread.
  10. This is just a shot in the dark, but do you drink plenty of water?
  11. ............yea, we'll go with that just for kicks.
  12. Look I don't "need a date." If I can get a date that would be great, but I don't necassarily need one as of now. I can do fine without it for now. It was a serious question that I wanted a woman's opinion on. I wanted know how women felt about female on male abuse/rape/harrassment. I'm sorry because I know this sounds rude when I say this, but if no one is going to say anything nice to me at all or respond to me in a respectful manner, and only read what they want to read then keep your comments to yourselves. I try my best to make everyone happy, but it doesn't apply to those who have no respect/courage. As much as it's apreciated other people's approval isn't needed.
  13. Johan I really do believe we got off to the wrong start. I am not your enemy at all. I want to apologize for overreacting to one one of your replies on a previous thread of mine. I really don't like it when people correct me about grammer and spelling. Believe me I'm a grammer freak myself. It was a mistake on my part to not speak in a question and like you said "use a question mark" as well as overreact For that I am sorry because I feel disrespected when people correct me with things that we all have trouble with. I'm not asking you at all to move on, to forget about it, or to even forgive me. I just want you to understand. As a devout Asatru we believe that all things are connected through the metaphorical World Tree Yggdrasil. Yggdrasil is one of the many reasons I became Vegan. As Siegfried Fischbacher (of Siegfried and Roy) said, "sometimes you forget how far you can go." Although I still stand by what I believe in, I empathize your knack for proper grammer. If we use better grammer through the internet or whatever people will understand us better. Robert thanks for the back up, but none of us are completly innocent in this.
  14. Hi Ladies, I posted a thread in the Vegan Dating Forum regarding a question that I had. It's not regarding anything perverted or what not. I want to clear that up ahead of time. I realize I may or may not get the exact answer I want, but I this point any support or information will at least be apreciated. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=18543
  15. Day of rest. Although I in alot of cases shouldn't have, I had two beers tonight. Only two because trust me I know my limit with alchohol. One was Sapporo from what Barnivore claims is Vegan friendly.
  16. Once I get the time I really do need to update this thing. I do need to know where I'm at.
  17. Morning Cardio and Hung Gar practice on my own.
  18. Sitting on a leather sofa. The hotel lobby where I normally meet up with my friends has an awesome couch. However I think that this couch is made with leather. I was asking this to my non vegan friend while we were there. Am I a hypocrite for calling myself vegan, but finding a couch made out of leather comfortable? I'm curious.
  19. Pull Ups, core training, and 20 minute HIIT.
  20. I do take a multi vitamin and make sure I get at the average of 1 gram per pound body weight of protein. I only wonder should I be using rice protein powder, or any other vegan protein powder, at all?
  21. Basically what I want to know about is whether vegans have weaker bones/bone density than non vegans? As a result of not as much protein. I'll just use the search button.
