Hi Paul! Welcome to the forum! I'm new here as well, and looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge through others' experiences here. "Forks Over Knives" is such a remarkable film and has had such a huge impact on sooo many people! Happy New Year, and thank you for your military service! All the best, Karen
  2. Hi Kayla! I'm new to the forum as well, and am also anxious to learn as much from the knowledge and experiences of this community as I can. I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but in addition to the resources viciousvixen suggested above, I would also recommend the "Engine 2 Diet" book to you, as well as the movie "Forks Over Knives". Wishing you (and all of us!) a healthy and happy 2012!! All the best, Karen

  7. Wow, Miguel, thanks for sharing your story! I just joined the forum as well, and am also looking forward to learning from the knowledge and experiences of the community here. Congratulations on your great weight loss success so far! I guess one thing that's key is to not beat yourself up over mistakes, but to just readjust your vision to keep your goals in sight and then keep moving towards that. And I say that as much for myself as for you! Happy New Year! And wishing you all the best on YOUR journey! -Karen

    Hello

Hi! My name is Karen, and I currently live in Colorado. I actually spent the better part of this year working and traveling on tour with Robert, and I met a number of you here on this forum. We went to Veg Festivals and other events all over the country (and Toronto!). It was so amazing and one of the best experiences of my life! I have continued to work closely with Robert on a variety of projects, including the inception of the 12 Days of Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness program. As for this forum... Well, sadly, I've never been a very active person, so the idea of joining this forum filled with some of the finest athletes seems a little daunting, but I really hope to be inspired and encouraged to lead a more active lifestyle and improve my overall health and fitness as I get older.
