I made a bunch of new friends there, they have a raw food group with 300 people, multiple vegetarian organizations and groups, vegan restaurants, and tons of stuff to do, plus it is totally cheap to fly there and cheap to stay there......tons of vacation homes to rent, beach houses, etc. So we'll consider it 3 years in Portland is enough (in my opinion). It was just easier since I was the organizer, to have it here. I'm open to NEW places though and L.A. and Orlando are at the top of my list for various reasons, including friends I know there, the communities there, the attractions (Mecca in Venice, etc.).
