robert
Hey everyone. I've been on a bulking phase for 6 weeks now and it has gone pretty well. I started way down at 176, although I was even lower during the Vegan Vacation and during my progress I've peaked at 191 (with clothes on). Actually 185 is where I stand naked. Anyway, I arrived in Canada and trained at my Boss' house and had him take some photos tonight. Here are a few. I'll get more soon. When I get time, I'll post before and after and additional progress ones months down the road. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex1.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex5.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex2.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex3.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex4.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex7.jpg I was flexing my abs in the mirror, but when I saw this I noticed my butt looked so nice I had to include it. Don't mind the sweat. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex6.jpg
Daywalker
Good job on the weight gains, you look less starved now Just teasing You really look fuller, keep going that way! But pleeaase, stop doing the rapper pose:http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex3.jpg
robert
You mean photos like this one? http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/Flex8.jpg You inspired me a lot. As soon as you left Portland I started with a new mission to Grow and get BIG. I've been working hard at it. I'm training hard, eating a lot and staying motivated. You had a lot to do with that. Davidtarrfoster has a lot to do with it too. He is always training with me, reminding me to eat, etc. I hope to continue to make gains and I'll post updates in a few weeks Thanks man, it's nice to be a "bodybuilder" again. I enjoy the lifestyle.

robert
Legs will come soon. I was going to take some Leg photos but I trained Chest and Biceps during my workout so they were already pumped and I mostly focused on those muscles for the photos. I still have a long way to go even to catch up to where I was in 2003, but I'm on the right road now and I'll keep following the path. Thanks for the comments. I hope to add some fat, mass and overall bulk soon.

robert
Thanks Richard. Aside from davidtarrfoster, You know more than anyone how busy I've been and stressed out I've been etc. I'm really pleased that I've been able to bulk while I'm doing all the other projects. In the past I would have just skipped out on the gym because I had too much "work" to do....but part of running Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness is being a bodybuilder and now I'm taking it seriously again and considering training and eating part of my "work." DDT time!
Odidnetne
You're definitley starting to get the bulk that you wanted back around May/June. I find it amazing that you're gaining that much weight with all the projects you're doing (I'm pretty familiar with how much work you've been doing on other things too), and it makes me wonder how big you'd be if you had all the time in the world? Ravi
awesome...keep it up! btw...I'm sure veganpotter has some good bulking strategies though they all probably invovle vega and peanut butter in some way!

robert
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm working on getting a bit fatter, but I think it will take some time. I've always been lean but hopefully I can change that in 2007 and continue to put on some mass. I've only been at it for 6 weeks and it may take more than 52 weeks to get to where I want to be, maybe even longer. But I'll keep on working at it. Time to eat! Guest
Part of building is never stopping...maybe make goals of weight for a year but you still wanna keep going...if your lucky you can continue to pack it on up unil your mid-30s...plus you have free vega...I recommend eating nothing esle(well nothing that doesn't have vega in it...try making bread with vega powder instead of flour...and maybe slices of vega loaf for sandwich filling)
robert
Yeah, I'm focusing on some long-term goals. It may take 52 weeks or 104 weeks until I hit a spot that I really like for my bodyweight and muscle mass. It may take longer, but I'm going to really try to work on it consistently. I'm only 6 or 7 weeks into it and I've been making good progress. I'm traveling for 2 weeks and that is tough to not have all my favorite bulking foods and my regular gym schedule, sleep schedule, etc. But I'll make it work. The TOH in Vancouver was awesome! I really enjoyed speaking, presenting, working and hanging out with people. Time to eat!
