Has anyone heard from Daywalker?
I have not seen him on the boards and hope he is ok.
Then again, I might have missed something?
-
Veganpotter,
I saw part of a show on tv late last night that was spotlighting Stickyfingers.
They focused on their cinnamon buns.
Are they really that good as they say?
They also say they ship them anywhere in the US. I was surprised to see them on TV but it was cool nonetheless.

Seasiren,
Same thing happened to me this time last year.
I started to take the rice protein (which supposedly is raw), on weekends only and my weight went up but not my strength. I attribute it to the protein because it is processed and not a whole food.
I am now gaining weight AND strength on just whole raw foods
I would suggest eliminate the protein drinks and eat sprouted beans instead. At least that is what has worked for me, or try the hemp protein.
Keep on lifting!!

crummy news. I was so looking forward to meeting you.
I hope everything is ok though.
Enjoy the holidays!

I am a raw vegan and loving it.

I got my father to start using it and now he will not go without it.
He uses it for his prostrate though.
He has not told me if it helps in any other arena
-
Thanks Daywalker I am clear.
I have been lifting consistently for over 10 years so I really do not consider myself a beginner. I do take the summers off, except on rainy days, due to my passion for biking.
My strength along with my weight has really increased on this system.
Thaks again for all your advice, you are the best!
-
Daywalker, per your training protocol, if you can do 15 reps easily is it prudent to increase the weight even though you will get less than 15 reps?
You mentioned before not to go to failure when performing the full-body routine so I am at a loss as to wether to increase the weight.
Even though I tend to always want to go heavy
Thanks for your help
Keep lifting!!

veganpotter, keep me updated if you will be in CT earlier than 2 JAN.
Also, if you stop in Maine anywhere let me know and I will try to meet up with you.
Sounds like your trip will be lots of fun.
Bring lots of warm clothes.
-
Veganpotter,
Why are you stopping in New haven?
Looks like I will be back in Portland maine on 2 JAN.
I have to be back at work.
You should stop in Portland. You would love it.
Not only do we have the ocean but also lots of pottery places
etc....
I do hope we can meet up
-
Veganpotter,
Let me know when you are in New Haven, CT.
I will be down there for the holidays because my folks live in North Haven which is right next door.
Also, let me know if you will be in Maine.
It would be great to meet you

daywalker,
your after photos...well I only have one word.
HOT!!
-
Daywalker, one more question I forgot to ask you.
What do you do to improve your grip strength?
Load a BB and just hold it??
Thanks for all of your great advice.
-
Daywalker, thanks so much.
I did your workout today and it is awesome. Pretty exhausting though considering I go all out on each set.
Do you recommend I do this everyday?
Sorry for sabaotoging your training journal.
-
Daywalker,
Awesome workout.
I am thinking of trying your full bosy workout for a couple of weeks.
I will be pressed for time and will not be able to make it to the gym everyday so I think your strategy would be perfect for me.
What would mimic the Log press in the gym?
Is this like a military press?
Keep on lifting.

I am 100% raw and single. I do eat a lot of food per day and eat organic as much as possible. I spend about $100 per week on food and sometimes more. I eat really simple, i.e. no gourmet recipes or dehydrated foods.
I think it is so much easier than cooked because there is always fruit. It is portable, cheap and requires no prep time. I think raw in general really requires a lot less prep time and virtually no clean up time.
-
Seasiren,
Good to see you back at training.
Keep at it.
I was also wondering about your raw journey
-
Robert,
Does your offer only stand if I purchase Vega from foodfight?
I purchased 2 cases of the bars from my local health food store but don't know if that counts.
thanks
-
Loveliberate, you and company are more than welcome to Porland,Maine.
We have the ocean, and the mountains. Hiking, kayaking, biking, and anything else you want to do outdoors you can do out here.
-
Loveliberate,
Did you mean Portland, OR in your first post NOT Portland,Maine?
I live in Portland, Maine and do not find it very Vegan friendly.
I would love to get a couple of that article
-
may I ask why do you do a full body workout every time you are in the gym versus doing only 1 or 2 bodyparts a day?
I am just curious.
When I used to train my whole body I never made any gains. Once i switched to 1 bodypart a session I saw immediate results
-
daywalker,
do you do a full body workout at every gym workout?
-
Robert, can i send you a check for the t-shirt?
If so let me know the address and I will send it asap.
Thanks again
