  2. I don't think they're trying to convert anybody - I don't even know if they are Christian themselves. But it was clearly a church, rather than a generic building, especially since it was based on the place that Jack's Dad would have had the funeral. They then stuck on some other symbols. I personally think it was laziness rather than anything else. "Let's make something religiousy, so I guess it will have to be a church or something".

  4. Yeah there are male feminists. I tend to say that I am "for equality", because "feminist" seems to carry a connotation that one values women above men, that women are superior in some way, which I don't think is true. I think it makes more sense, in terms of language, to say that you're for equality, if that's what you want. I think gender roles and all that stuff are a load of bollocks, and people should be treated as individuals, not as sections of society based on their gender.
  5. Yep, finally over. I watched the last episode. What a load of bollocks. I loved season 1 and season 2, and most of season 3. From then onwards, it was a big curly poop. The very nature of seasons 4, 5 and 6 make the earlier seasons meaningless when re-watched. What a waste of time, it could have been so good.

  8. Okay, been busy back at work, back into routine, getting up at 6am each day and doing physical work again. My knee still hurts especially when I crouch, but it isn't stopping me from working which is the main thing. So far, done some good workouts, not as many as I would have liked so far as work has really smashed me after being off for a few weeks. Diet, I have avoided crap every day apart from one day when I ate biscuits and another day I had a bag of crisps. I am now working on reducing serving size so that I don't get bloated out, I still have a tendency to eat even after I know I don't need any more. So, gradually getting back to it, hopefully having the routine of work will help me get back to a routine of working out too

Though these competitions have halted since the other person organizing them, who was dealing with the prizes, hasn't been getting back to me, and doesn't visit the board too much now. So we can't really continue for now. Perhaps we will start up some more contests this year if we can organize it and keep on top of it.

OKAY, and here are my personal bests, so they are in one location for me to remember and update: personal bests dumbbell bench press: 30kg (each hand) x 12 incline dumbbell bench press 26kg (each hand) x 12 chin-ups: 15 press ups: 50 lat pull-down (close grip, palms in): 70kg x 10 lat pull-down (wide grip, palms out): 60kg x 8 Upright cable row: 40 x 11 Seated cable row: 50 x 15 Shrugs: 30kg (each hand) x 12 Shoulder Press: 20kg (each hand) x 8 Lateral shoulder raises: 14kg x 9 Leg Press: 120kg x 20 Squats: (just bodyweight) 60 --------- Okay, so I had a hay bale fall on my knee from the top of a loader, which means that I have been off work for the last couple of weeks, and look to be off for at least another week. Also this stopped my training for a while, though now it doesn't hurt so much to do upper body stuff. Pissed off because I'm not earning money, and because my diet has suffered due to me being pissed off and sitting around the house all day. So I'm starting up the journal again to chronicle my rise to world dominance. Goal: Lose excess fat especially around my saggy belly Means: Lift 5 times a week, cut out crap from diet, get at least 100g of protein per day, eat less carbs in the evening Any advice or hectoring will be welcomed
  12. I see no problems dude. I think this will cause you no problems at all with girls. Hopefully over time you'll feel more confident about it. Anybody who has anything negative to a person just because of their body is a dickhead anyway
  13. I've left the contests as there wasn't appearing to be much interest, and the person who was helping organize the contests with me hadn't been getting back to me. Perhaps we could start again, I don't know. I'm happy to do it, just needs people to contribute. The "your shape today" thread seems like a fine place for people to share their photos, seems more popular also

  15. So long as there aren't personal attacks or threats on the forum, I think we're quite relaxed about opinions on religion, positive or negative. There is always the "Add foe" button in a person's profile if you really dislike their opinions, and don't want to have to read them in a topic.

Hello there, we'll be adding a new section to veganbodybuilding.com which will be for videos, so if you've got stuff on uploaded youtube or elsewhere, and it's related to veganism, or even better, vegan bodybuilding, share it here and we'll get some stuff featured. This wouldn't just be limited to training vids: If you have vids of recipes, information on nutrition / training, videos of vegan events, and so on, it would be interesting to put up. Yes!
