I'm a male but my fiance often visits this site on her own and helps me with some of my posts as well. So maybe I should have said both.

Wow, I just re-read the article and it is just crazy what's going on in our society. I just sent the article to everyone in my address book.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying it!

Sorry if this should go in the News and Articles section. This is a great article about Veganism. Enjoy!

This article was printed in my local paper but when I searched for it online it came up as a New York Times article. I guess my local paper stole it from them. I thought it was cool and wanted to share.

I meant "Aside from the Olive oil", meaning that unless it was Cold-pressed, the rest was raw anyway.
Gotcha! I think I was tired when I read it.

Yeah, screw L.A. it's crowded, smoggy and their sports teams all suck.

I'm hungry for it!

I think this thread finished up a couple months ago, and now that I've been doing salt water flushes and other things, keeping down ridiculous amounts of calories has become a bit harder, but I'd test how many calories I could take in. I think the inherent problem with this is what kind of calories they are. If you eat a balanced diet, pushing 4,000 (or more) calories could be a bit painful in the stomach, but when I first started lifting weights I could eat an entire jar of natural peanut butter in 4 minutes, which is almost 2,400 calories. I'd have fun doing something like this though if it happens. It would be fun on the vegan vacation. We'd all be sprawled on someone's apartment floor covered with organic food scraps the next morning.

I should have given an onion warning. If you put 1/2 an onion your mate won't want to kiss you. Today when I made it I did 1/4 onion. I like kisses.

Me too. I'm confused.....

Cool video! Great job!
On the farmers walk, how much weight are you carrying in each hand?

I've owned a few guns over the years and shot more than a couple of others. Besides the AR above, my main gun now is a Glock 19. I do have my CCW (CHL here in Oregon). Oregon is open carry but at least 2 cities here - Portland & Beaverton are not.
Are you familair with Packing.org? They have tons of info on CCW & gun laws in general, plus forums, links to defensive trainers & a lot more. Interestingly, some California counties are essentially shall issue for CCW - check out Packing for more info.
I dont know how familar you are with California's maze of firearms laws but one thing to be aware of is that most AK variants are banned there so if you want to get one you'll either have to get a version that is Cali. legal or keep it outside of the state.
Personally, I prefer a rifle to a shotgun (or a handgun for that matter) for protection/defense.
Packing.org is a great site. There are some county's that will issue permits but it's not as easy as it sounds. You have to establish residency and if you don't know someone, that can be hard. My gun grabbing grandparents have a home in Mendocino county and according to Packing.org, the Mendocino county sheriff hands them out like candy. The problem I have is my grandparents won't go for that. I'll have to wait until they leave their beach house to the family and then I'll apply.
About the AK that I might get, I doubt it will be legal and I doubt it will be kept out of state. I pretty much don't give a shit about gun laws.
The only problem I have with rifles being used for self defence is the fact that after they hit the bad guy they can continue to travel through walls. So, if you have neighbors or other people in the home, you run the risk of killing someone else besides the bad guy.

Haha, makes me want to play that game!

Please keep us updated on limpy's whereabouts. We are hoping for his safe return. I wish I was closer to help.

For some reason photobucket decides which ones to make big and which ones it makes small. All of the photos are the same size, but photobucket won't make them any bigger. Any suggestions? I've run into this problem a bunch of times.
I can read magazine in the photo I have saved but photobucket keeps making it too small to read
This happen to me once and I think I just reloaded the photos one at a time??
Great photos anyway!
