Well, considering I wouldn't shed a tear if everyone in the world simultaneously smashed each and every cell phone that existed, it probably speaks volumes about how much I use one. Don't think that my 1 minute per month to call home if I'm running late causes much concern for my health

  • 3 weeks later...

read somewhere recently (just can't remember where..... short term memory) that the effects are much more serious to kids that to adults.

Sometimes I wish the darned things were never invented.

Was out for dinner a couple weeks ago and there were two guys at the next table. The ENTIRE time thaey were there, they sat and sent text messages. (hopefully not to each other)

yeah cells phones and texting can get annoying. I mean they are good for emergencies or if you need to meetup and locate someone or send a quick message is great. Some I think just are addicted. Which is there own thing but I just don't care if I have the latest Iphone or what not. Simple in general for me is better.

CELL PHONE RANT:

Last night some ass clown was in gym in the deadlift area yelling into his f***ing phone abou this dip shit roommate for half an hour while I was trying to lift. Finally when he got off the phone I told him his physique would not look like shit if he came to gym and spent half that energy on actually working out instead of being a blowhard. Not my nicest hour.

I live in the DC area where people text constantly while driving in bumper to bumper traffic or chit chat away while oblivious to what is happening around them. So if cell phones cause cancer in chronic users, how come I see so many of them?
