vivalasvegans
I foresee a lot of swimming in my future this summer and I want to protect my hair. Any one have any recommendations? Shaving my head bald is not really an option.
Lean and Green
viva there's an old thread I remember about this . Not sure how I would find it? I remember veganpotter answered in it and i think it was around early 08. Also though, keep in mind that there is no chlorine in the lap pool @ 24 hr. Honest. The smell of chlorine is from the hot tub, which they use chlorine in. So if that's the concern you're good to go

One trainer told me there's chlorine in it... I'll double check. I hope not. I need to figure something out for other places though. I'll see if I can find that old thread. Lizzo
I *think* Malibu 2000 Un Do Goo shampoo is vegan. They also make a swimmer's shampoo.
Barb123
ABBA makes a molasses and baking soda based vegan clarifying shampoo. It's called Pure Detox shampoo. If you don't have a salon in your area that carries it their site is www.abbahaircare.com. Hope this helps. We've used it in the salon to remove chlorine successfully. SouthSidde
Hi buddy, I work as a barber myself, so I understand you and hope you do well in this business. From what I know, I can recommend you ariachairs, better look more about them here. I recently bought a new wet station from them because my old one cracked. And I want to tell you that they don't have any problems with quality. So, they're definitely worth a look.
