That's a long time to hang around...

 

It certainly seems long

That's maybe a way to make more out of your time

 

 

It doesn't only seem long, it IS long. The last seconds are a torture for my little hands. I really have small hands and short fingers for a man. Not using it as an excuse, but maybe I could get more seconds if I would have longer fingers. I try again tonight, but I guess 1.50 is my limit. If I can reach it at all.

My best was 1:52 and I haven't tried for a while. So now I think 3 people have broken Two minutes:

 

Daywalkder 2:10 or 2:16 something like that

Nobbi 2:08

Kathy 2:04

 

Great job all of you breaking the 2 minute barrier!

Where are you on this thread? You had those awesome chins with the weight added in the video. I'm sure you would rock this thread! Let's see your time.

 

I'm going to give another go at it. I never made it to 2 minutes!

 

Anyone else give this a try lately?

I think Daywalker still has the best time, I'll look back in time, and update it with the top times. I think I'm somewhere in the top 5 but I'm not sure.

 

It does hurt. Half of it is mental. I just think about things, stare at objects, sing in my head, whatever I can do to last a few seconds longer.

How about a one arm dead hang? Better yet with a 40 lb dumbell in the other hand? I just did 20 seconds. (Think I was kind of tired from the two arm dead hang 5 minutes earlier. )

 

these guys arent interested in anything that actually involves strength

 

its all about endurance this, and reps that

 

but jay, i will take you up on the one arm hang with 40lb dumbell
