Offense74 is in town for a few days, and we took the opportunity to hit up Bamboo Garden...a cooked food Vegan's dream! (xveganjoshx eat your heart out!). We were men on a mission. Deep fried, battered, sitr-fired, spiced-up, smotherred in MSG-free sauce, tons of fake meat....it's mmmmmm,mmmmm good! I actually finished one of the large combo plates solo! This was a first for me....and a very big achievement. Now....I just gotta make some room for fresh & hot Mighty-O donuts tomorrow! Ready to dig in and start the mission. Believe it or not, I actually out-ate Offense until the final minutes....when I was passed by as I slowed down to make it through a stack of "orange chicken nuggets"..deep fried balls of gluten in an orange sauce.http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1311/1058333552_976e6e8b1f.jpg "Eat Me"...you better believe it. We're doing the same out here. sydneyvegan is still in town and tons of Portland locals are too so we're continuing to meet up and have fun. Thanks for posting the pics. I miss both of you guys. Ravi, you're a lot closer and easier to visit, but I really would love to visit both of you guys again, meaning a trip back to Europe sometime Well done at the restaurant. Nice...those are my kind of portions.same here. i HATE it when you order something, and they give you this shrimpy little portion that takes two minutes to eat. i don't care if they charge more, but, come on! i want some food.
