  1. This isn't the one that retard Kent Hovind built is it?

I can't access the article at work.

No. Doesn't seem like it. Thus it seems like there's more than one.

Fortunately, that lunatic Hovind is in prison for 10 years for tax evasion.

  2. So in the elitexc show in Hawaii we have ANOTHER fighter that missed weight. Nick Diaz came in 9 lbs over weight. The bout was suppose to be at 160 and he weighed in at a whopping 169.

Hey at least he let his opponet know, they agreed on it and Muhsin Corbbrey weighed in at 163.5, they agreed to go catch weight at 168.. Alves on the other hand in my opinion was a complete @#%$ for not letting the hughes camp know he was going to come in over and arrange a catch weight ahead of time. Matt made weight for their fight.. I still think he would have lost either way but... jerk move.

I dont know what the future holds for Hughes with these loses

If I'm not mistaken, Hughes said after the last fight that he had one fight left in him (this is secondhand, I didn't actually see the fight).

Of course he could always end up "retiring" the same way Randy Couture did.

  3.

Are japanese people upset by that, then ?

    (^?^) <- baffled

Yes. It's considered a racist term, and has been since at least WWII, if not before.

Jap is a term originally used as an English abbreviation of the word "Japanese." Today it is regarded as an ethnic slur, though English-speaking countries differ in the degree they consider the term offensive. Japanese Americans have come to find the term controversial or offensive, even when used as an abbreviation. [1] In the past, Jap was not considered primarily offensive; however, after the events of World War II, the term became derogatory.[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap

    there you go.

  6. I just recently discovered that they show PrideFC on FSN (Fox Sports), which I didn't have added to my channel list because I generally don't watch sports.

Wish I had known that before. Up until this weekend I haven't really been able to watch much Pride.

  7. I really want to get into some kind of martial art. It seems that BJJ is one of the most popular ones. Would this be good for someone who has had literally no experience in any martial arts?

In my opinion BJJ is the most practical. I mean 90% of fights go to the ground. And if someone takes you there its awesome to know what to do because in Jiu Jitsu you live on the ground. Greta work out too!

90% of fights may go to the ground, but BJJ isn't very practical outside of the ring. The last thing you want to do in a street fight is pull guard.

HAHAHHAAHA. Kung fu eh? whatever you say.

Just for the record, I don't do Kung Fu.

I have recently started training in Muay Thai though.

And I stand by my previous statement 100%, based on input from quite a few fighters and bouncers.

  9. I'm impressed...what was your distraction??? Here its easy...I had a terrible final project for my glass blowing class so I made my teacher breakfast before the class and suprised him with lunch too...my first ever complete failure in an art class...I had to do something, right? Oddly...I wound up with a B...I couldn't believe it

beer + party school + not living at home for the first time.

  10. just saw the most recent episode. sorry to see matt go. though his fight was a bit sluggish and sloppy, he did dominate most of it. too bad he is too injured to continue. all the animosity towards him from the rest of the house just boils down to jealousy of his talent. they are just mad that he is so good, when they figure his hearing should make him more vulnerable. that's my take on it. he can defend takedowns without using his hands for christ sake! ok.. he did show off a bit.

i was surprised that neither tait nor christian wanted to replace matt and get another chance to get into the finals. turned dana down flat. but ross just went up on my list of cool. stepped right up and said hell yeah i'll fight again. "i'm a fighter, i don't refuse a fight" makes me wanna root for him in the next fight. but we'll see how it turns out.

He's fighting Bisping, who is ranked as one of the top fighters in Europe. Bisping is definitely the favorite to say the least.

  11. Not really a huge fan of the actual fruit, but I made some papaya guacamole once that turned out pretty good.

Now, that sounds interesting. Did you just sub papaya for the avocado and use a regular recipe?

I eat papayas once in a while, for the sake of variety, and because they have good digestive enzymes in. And who knows what they might have in that other foods don't?

It had papaya and avocado. I got it out of some vegan cookbook I've got laying around the house. It wasn't bad, but I blended it too long and it got too runny.
