I've been listening to a lot of anarcho lately. Kulturkampf, Flowers In The Dustbin, Anthrax (UK). There's a new band called Cross Stitched Eyes that's made up of ex member of Subhumans and Zygote who have a pretty awesome, dark Rudimentary Peni sort of vibe going.

I've been listening to alot CRASS and _{[HUM][ANS] lately. What I've noticed is that most rap, r and b, and rock is about relationships and dating. I'm surrounded by that stuff all the time so I enjoy hearing about other topics in the music I listen to.}

I asked someone about this and got the story....John Joseph is for real.....he is then man for Cro Mags I have is biography as well, just haven't read it yet. He explains some of the controversy in it, and talked about it a bit tonight when I chatted with him. One of my friends is an author and currently a biography writer for hardcore bands and explained the whole situation to me.

 

I hung out with John Joseph tonight. He's a cool dude. He even did stuff I didn't expect. He announced to the whole crowd, "This song goes out to my man Robert Cheeke, Vegan Bodybuilder!" And we posed for some photos, etc. and hung out for a bit and have been sending a lot of text messages, etc.

 

The Cro Mags are off to Seattle tomorrow but I will try to catch up with John again soon. We've been in touch for a year or so but this was my first time attending a show.

 

I dig hardcore!

Oh, I wasn't implying John Joseph was a fake. He was the original singer, and has been in the band (or using the name) since the early 80's.

What I meant was, I think he's currently the only original member still in the band, and the other original members have an issue with him still using the name.

Actually, I'll think you'll find he was talking about the Champions League, unless there's a seven day delay in showing football matches in Canada.

There is a delay. Not sure how long. I just got Hull City vs. Man U yesterday, and I think that one actually took place on the 24th.

Cheese was never sentient. Fish were. That is a fairly major difference.

I'm not religious about it, I just think the whole idea of calling yourself a vegetarian when you still eat meat is fucking stupid, and hypocritical.
