  1. Since becoming vegetarian a year ago, and now Vegan for 2009, one of the most popular criticism I encounter is that "too much soy is bad for you." And of course they have no evidence, or any facts to give me, it's just something they heard. So I was wondering if anyone here has heard that argument? "that too much soy is bad for you" And if it is, why? or what is consider too much?

  2. thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I forgot to mention that I'm also into Mixed Martial Arts, I want to find a gym. right now I just watch it on TV haha. I'm not sure If I will drink again. and if I do I'm sure it will be for a good damn reason. very very moderate of course. The money I saved this mont from buying my average 12 pack a week is being put aside for a vacation one day.

  3. Hey guys and gals! this is only my second post. I have limited access to the internet and I don't have much time to search the forum effectively for similar threads to this one, so forgive me if you have answer this question a million times.

     

    So I been Vegan for roughly a month. I go to the gym 3 to 4 days a week. I'm not taking any supplements at the moment. Before I took whey gain, and some creatine, however since becoming Vegan I'm not too sure what's best for my body to get the best results. I would like any recommendations, brand names and any other tips from people who are vegan and use protein and creatine supplements. thank you!

  4. Hi there! I been a vegetarian for a little over a year now and decided that in 2009 I will make the process towards becoming Vegan. So here you have me! An other thin I've done since the new year is eliminate alcohol consumption. I been going to the gym for about 3 months now and I want to continue getting stronger and gaining muscle on my vegan diet. For me! of course and also to shut all the people up that keep giving me crap about my health decision. I hope to meet good friends here and learn a thing or two!
