  1. this "cleanse" is my regular eating plan. fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, and about 64 ounces of green smoothie a day.
  2. Are you joking? sorry. i was thinking of whey.
  3. hmm... i thought everyone on this site was vegan. isn't soy a product of an animal?
  4. ok. i think it was a lack of calorie intake pre-workout. now that i eat more before WO, 90% of the dizziness is gone! thanks for all of your replies!
  5. this may sound like a stupid question so please forgive me for i am new to this way of eating. but, from what i understand, i thought being Vegan meant that you don't consume ANY animal products.
  6. i swear by this... http://store.globalhemp.com/v/vspfiles/photos/nutiva-50-protein-powder-16-2T.jpg edit: oh oh... i hope this isn't considered spamming. if so, i will get rid of the image. i just love hemp protein powder.
  7. i love the fact that i can see more definition in my muscles because of the subcutaneous fat loss! but i have put on more muscle since eating this way. a lot more! in fact, i'd bet that i've put on more muscle in the last 26 days than i have in the past 4 months! my weight loss has slowed to 3 lbs. these past 10 days or so, but my fat loss continues daily with skin fold tests and is visible to the eye every morning when i wake!! i can't explain it either. but i do know that it won't be hard at all to stay with this lifestyle! thank you guys for all of your welcomes!
  8. i've been doing squats for a couple decades and never had a problem. but since being on the raw food diet for almost 4 weeks now, i have tons on energy and i've actually gotten much stronger, and i love it! my only problem eating raw is that after a really tough set of deep barbell leg squats, after i re-rack the bar, i get so light headed and dizzy, i swore i was about to pass out right there on the floor. this seems to happen every time i squat, especially on heavy sets. i'm wondering am i deficient in some nutrients or something? this only seemed to have happened since i started eating raw. i eat a couple of green smoothies a day, huge garden salads and tons of apples, grapes, oranges and other fruits. nuts and avocados. and seeds. i put shelled hemp seeds in my smoothies and i sup with hemp protein powder after i workout and before i go to bed. other than the dizziness with the squats, i love the energy, vitality and power that comes from eating this way!
  9. WTF? yeah, i've seen a lot of lame crap like this at my gym. there's this fool who comes to the gym everyday, stands in front of the mirror, right in front of the cable crossover machine, and does slow motion karate moves for about an hour! there's a bunch of showoffs at my gym and you can tell, they don't have a life.
  10. hello. i've always been into bodybuilding for the last 20 years or so but i've been 100% raw food for 25 days now and i cannot believe the results! i've lost 18 lbs. but at the same time, have put on slabs of muscle!! i can't believe the raw power and energy i have at the gym! i never thought i could build muscle without meat! wow! i have so much to say, but for right now, i just want to say hi and i'm NEVER going back to the old way of eating!
