  1. I hope that's a weight gain of 8lbs of muscle:) I look and feel better tha ever so I am hoping so. Rest day and lots of liquid magnesium. Excited for trainer on Sunday!!
  2. Did my trainers set up today. Ouch. Legs tri's and bi's cardio and abs when I get home.
  3. So many useless machines at the work. Trainer kicked my butt. Feels good though. Was told I was doing too much cardio. I will gladly cut down my cardio days!!

  6. Hour intervals on the elliptical. Half hour on bike and a brisk walk to cool down on the treadmill. Trainer tomorrow!!
  7. Just cardio today and tomorrow. Resting my mud les for my first training session Monday!! 3.5 miles intervals of 6 to 7.2mph. Elliptical intervals for 30 minutes.

  9. What does a days/weeks worth of food look like for you?? Even the bad stuff;) I start with: Vega Pre-workout Energizer if I work out -protein shake or smoothie/tofu scramble -handful of almonds -apple, orange, nuts, carrots, cut up veggies and carrots for snacks durin the day. -quinoa, avocado, tomato, pea shoot, spinach salsa salad -mixed steamed/fresh veggie salad or small hummus tempeh sundried tomato wrap -coconut milk yogurt with hemp fiber or hemp protein -apple or orange/fruit snack on the train ride home -GIGANTIC salad with avocado balsamic dressing or a steamed veggie bowl over quinoa or whatever was made in the crockpot for the week. -weekends I usually get Chinese food (my weakness) or burritos and eat some junk food.

Wide grip lat pull down 3 sets of 12 at 20lbs one arm dumbbell row 3 sets of 12 each arm with 5lbs underhand cable pulldown 3 sets of 12 at 20lbs alternating dumbbell curls 4 sets of 12 at 5lbs standing bicep cable curls 3 sets of 12 at 20lbs. Abs and some inner and outer thigh exercises. Now refueling on a pound of asparagus and a proton smoothie:)

I did a half hour on the highest elevation on the elliptical. Chest/triceps wide pushup on knees 3 sets of 12 narrow pushups 3 sets of 12 dumbbell bench 3 sets of 12x10 cable flyes 2 sets of 25x10 overhead triceps 3 sets of 12x15 tricep pull down 2 sets of 25x10 lat pulls 2 sets of 25x20 (just because I like them) 3 sets of wall sits with a 10lb ball or 45 seconds each.

  14. Tomorrow I will dabble I a new workout plan I found on bodybuilding.com. I will start up completely next week. Wish me luck!! I will push myself harder than ever before..
  15. This website and forum right now is pretty high up there but for local information and organization it's http://bostonvegan.org/. They educate newcomers and welcome everyone who is either interested or have been vegan and supporting animal rights for a long time. They are simple and straight forward and not preachy. I hate preachy:).
  16. So sick.. Just tried to go to the gym and got violently ill. I am still going to go but I don't think I can get my run in today. Double elliptical time. Already did weights and abs at home.
  17. It keeps me going!! I would run 6+ miles 3-5 days a week but having an actual training plan is fun!!
  18. 30 minute intervals on treadmill and elliptical. Quick 3 miles on the bike. Free weights and 50 reps lat pull downs, dips and back and chest. Now cooking for the Super Bowl!! I am bringing a second dose of Vega to the gym tomorrow!!
  19. Mostly raw, always vegan. Protein shake and fruit for breakfast. Handful of almonds and an apple for a snack or coconut milk yogurt and fruit. 3-4 servings of fruit and veggies and quinoa avocado and greens bowl for lunch and mega giant salad for dinner or soup. I have IBS so I fear eating poorly. When I do, I pay..
  20. Right now I do intervals in the treadmill and elliptical for a half hour each. Then 2 leg days on the machines at 50 reps a machine at medium weight and same for arms, chest and back on the machines. What else should I be doing?? I am feeling clueless..
  21. Today is a rest day. It is needed in between arm, chest, back days so I am able to blow dry clients hair!! Ouch. I will get some cardio in somewhere.
  22. Thank you. This forum has helped me learn so much even after 10 years of being vegan!! Diet is a huge part in keeping healthy but I was void of the other part for so long. Exercise has changed me for the better. This is forever.
  23. Left the house with the moon and returned with the sun. Elliptical intervals for 45 pushed hard on the treadmill for 20 lat pulls 50 reps dips 50 chest 50 and back 50. 2 mile walk. Vega makes it possible!! Starvin' Marvin today. Got up to 8mph today thanks to old Metallica ha!!
