  1. Cardio Today... Treadmill and cross trainer....
  2. Tanning beds are definitely no good for you... Premature Ageing, Skin damage, risk of skin cancer. Coming from the country that has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, A lot of study has been done into sun beds as an alternative to natural sun, and the conclusion was, it's just as bad for you... I say go the spray tan, every time...
  3. Thanks for the update Robert... I look forward to hearing about dates etc in time. I plan in visiting LA and Portland, so it's all good...
  4. Hey... Have you tried doing Box Squats? I was having trouble going deep enough in my squats, so I switched to box squats for a while and it fixed the problem... Just a thought....
  5. I tend to train when I'm sick, it often helps me get better... That said, I listen to my body at the same, so if I feel worse or start hurting I go home. If I've got a head cold or something, I won't do lunges or squats for example, as my balance will be off...
  6. Height is 192cm (6"3), Body weight is 106kg (233lbs)... I haven't measured bodyfat in a long time... Last time it was something like 20% but that was measured with one of those scales not calipers... I think it must be less than that now....
  7. Got Some Good News from my boss yesterday... I've got the whole of August off....

  9. Thanks for the comments I've never been very good at the shredded look, so I figure I might as well work to my strengths...
  10. The New Year has caused me to reflect a lot on Australian and where we currently stand as a Country, and to be honest, it's embarrassing and sickening... 1. We have some of the most unique flora and fauna in the world, yet one of the highest rates of extinction and land clearing 2. We refuse to sign or really even acknowledge the Kyoto Protocols, yet we are feeling the effects of Global Warming more than any other country and already seem to be seeing changes in weather etc. 3. We are the driest continent on earth, yet we are one of the most wasteful when it comes to water use. 4. We have a Prime Minister who is part of the religious right, and who has taken away civil liberties, that have taken decades to develop. 5. We continue to kiss the arse of other countries, who really don't care about Australia, let alone know where it is. 5. We are involved in Wars on the other side of the world, which really have nothing to do with us. 6. We have Australian citizens who have been imprisoned by other countries for 5 years, without a trial, and have refused to let them back into Australia, even know that have done nothing wrong, according to Australian Law. 7. We continue to treat animals in ways that are beyond comprehension, more so than any other country (live Exports of sheep and cattle, and mulesing being examples) Does Anyone else, ever think like this about the country in which they live?
  11. Deadlifts 4 x 5 x 220 Decline Bench 2 x 10 x 176 Dips 9,9 1 arm preacher curls 2 x 10 x 45 Seated Shoulder Press 2 x 10 x 132 Bench Dips 2 x 10 + 90 Calves 2 x 20 x 300
  12. Sounds tasty...... Well I guess you could eat the pot full and see what happens, it might be fun I studied a fair bit of botany in the past so the chemicals in plants and fungi etc and their effect on us, I find pretty interesting. Be it dried pieces of a cactus, Peyote, The leaves of a plant that you chew to prevent altitude sickness, coca, or little gold coloured mushrooms that bruise a blue colour, which contain psilocybin....
  13. I remember trying it way back in my Student Days Didn't do much more than give me a headache I'm afraid.... Lettuce apparently has hallucinogenic properties as well... You would just need to eat pounds of the stuff....
  14. Thanks PelicanAndrew, Robert... Still a bit of work to be done, but I'm happy with the density of muscle I'm getting.... I'll take some more pics soon... Back, Side etc and posing shots, although I doubt I'm much good at the whole posing thing... I'll just wait a bit until the last bit of chritmas cheer has gone My skins a bit loose at the moment, and I want to show as much definition as possible
  15. I live with Omnis... We do our own thing, so it isn't really a problem...
  16. People ask me that all the time... I mean whats with that..... Anyway Cupcakes... They are good.... Sticky and good....
  17. Thanks... Well my Anglo-Saxon skin isn't exactly great at tanning... Tends to go more a shade of red, than anything else... It hasn't been that hot this summer yet... Still that will come in the next month or so...
  18. Here is the latest pic of me... I took it on my phone, so sorry about the quality... Still got a bit of a way to go with reducing bodyfat, but happy with the rest of it... I'll post some more pics soon, so you can see how I am going.... http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/9260/latestzz9.png
  19. I guess my main goal is to continue reducing my bodyfat whilst maintaining my muscle mass. A six-pack would also be nice... Just something about having that wash board stomach... sigh....
  20. North indian food, tends to be a lot better for Vegans... I've got a couple of Indian friends and they have confirmed this. They tend to use most vegetable oil instead of Ghee.... Lucky there is one around the corner from me... Most thai places will make you something without Fish sauce, or at least make you a Vegan pad thai, without all that egg...
  21. Back after the christmas break, fatter and weaker than ever..... Bench 4 x 5 x 220 Chins 10,8 Dumbbell shrugs 2 x 10 x 200 total Latpull downs 2 x 10 x 160 Hammer Curls 2 x 10 x 50lbs each side Rope push downs 2 x 10 x 140 Mil Press 2 x 10 x 60
  22. Another Option, one which I've tried before, yet wouldn't really recommend is to go to all out on the weight and then hurt yourself... You get noticed... you might even get sympathy.... Here's a bit of a story... There is this guy I know, lets call him SydneyVegan, to protect his real identity... See's a cute boy at the gym who is watching him deadlift... Pulls a nice single at 150kgs... cute boy looks rather impressed... decides to pull another one whilst looking at cute boy and not thinking about form... result... hurt back rather badly and then had real trouble getting weights off bar... managed to maintain some dignity and pretend nothing had happened... wander around gym stretching etc, then hit the showers.... have 2 weeks off from the gym whilst back heals.... still see cute boy, but have decided it is safer to look using the mirrors and leave it at that...
  23. Deadlifts 2 x 10 x 210 Incline Bench 2 x 10 x 165 Dips 10,7 1 arm Preacher Curls 2 x 10 x 45 Seated Shoulder Press 2 x 10 x 132 Bench Dips 2 x 20 + 90 Calves 2 x 20 x 300
  24. I tend to ask for a spot (It's amazing how much you can lift when they are spotting you) or ask about there program etc... It seems to work for me...
  25. Christmas is aways spent with Family, so I tend to get special treatment when it comes to the Christmas dinner... Also being in Australia, it will be hot (last year it was 42C) so the menu tends to involve more salads etc... This year it will be a Tempeh and Tofu Salad with extra steamed veges etc.. Followed by Vegan Christmas pudding and Soy custard, all washed down with Vegan Champagne, then probably followed by vegan chocolates...
