  1. sorry, but this is so stupid. if you ever feel pain in your joints it's probably because your technique sucks and you're fucking up your joints in the gym. yeah. could be...he should just log everything and thatshould give a clue to what is happening. Could have a digestive prob with the powders. If one is eating too much protein and would suffer the consequenses from that such as kidney or bone loss I dont think pain would be felt immediatly after eating a super high protein meal. Would have to be a habit to cause a problem. I eat too much protein I just get tired and need a nap.
  2. great that you mentioned all of the above. I lost a lot of weight then gained it back because my life was still crazy and I did not learn how to manage my diet. Now I am losing it the healthy way. I have gotten tons of good advice on here.
  3. Hi Sassy, I am kind of new here also. I am starting to get into yoga. I need to do more than I have. It makes me feel good. Nice to have you here.
  4. Checking for allergies is a good idea, as is the blood sugar issue. I have a low level allergy to soy and wheat and I do eat them sometime and I get sleepy. So I am trying to be good and not cheat.
  5. I had this problem. Trying to get busy and forget the hunger does not always work for me. If you are truly hungry you will want to eat. If I go out for a walk or do something and I am still thinking about food my body wants something I am not giving it. I can eat tons of rice and beans and I will still be hungry. I have to eat more green vegetables nuts, seeds, fruits. What do you snack on after dinner? I have to have celery, nut butters, berries, raw fruits and hummus. I guess I have to have some lower carb foods, the high carb foods seem to feed my hunger. Also make sure you drink enough water as has been mentioned.
  6. That is just ing. My great grand parents had heart disease and great aunts and uncles. All meat eaters. All diet related. I was heading for the same fate until I realized what it all does. Lard
  7. Sounds good. This is exactly what I need to do. I need to lose a lot of body fat also and I need to get healthy. What full body cleanse to you recommend and tell us more about the low carb high protein diet. I am having problems with my diet because I need to eat less carbs but I am allergic to soy and wheat and some other grains. Rice is ok. What is the source of protein in your preferred high protein diet? I need to get the cob webs out of my system since I was not a vegetarian until recently. T. Y.
  8. I am a new vegan and I was reading throught the information here about protein. Can enough protein be gotten from foods alone without using concentrated proteins and powders? I am allergic to soy and did not really want to use powders if I do not need to. Going from eating fish and egg whites to legumes and seeds and nuts, I want to make sure I get enough.
  9. Beautiful pics. I am a new vegan. I think my diet is going similar to what yours is. I love almonds and they fill me up when I have cravings. I have to find a tasty protein powder that does not have soy. I think I am allergic. You look very healthy. Thanks for sharing

  11. What brand of vegan cheese is best? I love sandwiches. I will try this one for sure. Love good crusty bread.
