sunryzer
Hi all, I'm from Bournemouth, UK (which we call "The English Riviera" - maybe true a few years ago when we had 6 month summers but we now have hardly any summer at all ). I've been a vegan for 2 years and vegetarian for almost 10. I'm 5' 8" but in 2002, weighed 220lbs (yes, very much into obese there ) but just by doing simple things like regular walking and a healthier diet (vegetarianism can easily be high in saturated fats - there is an over-reliance on cheese!) I managed to shift 50lbs. I now feel good about myself and am starting to build up muscle where it counts. Whilst I'm not aiming for the full body builder physique (although people like Robert should certainly be applauded for what they've achieved!) a nice toned torso and building up those shoulders and upper arms is certainly my goal. I used to be a keen weight-lifter a decade ago so I can help but feel a bit weedy whenever I look in the mirror these days! - Paul
