xllx
Brother really convinced me about going vegetarian and slowly to vegan about 5 months ago. I decided it was also a time to get serious with bodybuilding as well, and I heard Robert Cheeke talk in Cleveland. I go to Ohio State and plan on lifting every day, I will probably update at the end of the quarter. Shout out to Ohioans! http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2057/25/32/705425780/n705425780_2503573_833.jpgHere's my before picture, yeah i ate meat before, obviously didnt help me put on any weight... xllx
plates and plates of plain lentils.. beans.. rice.., also bowls of bowtie pasta.. i put garlic on like everything. I dont really do like 7-8 meals, i stick to like 3-4, and i eat alot of peanut butter and nuts all throughout the day. I also devour apples, green peppers, and broccoli. I'm also a huge fan of vegetarian indian food, a lot of it is chickpea and potato based and those are great for putting on mass. I was so easily converted because my parents are both vegetarian and my older brother is vegan.
vege
you are one lucky guy! But how did you end up eating meat with vegetarian parents!? You were baaaad boy
xllx
Noo clue. Milk and chicken was like a staple when i was growing up. My brother has been vegan for i think 2 full years now, but we both ate anything growing up, and i think our dad may still have been eating fish/chicken only while we were growing up as well. We've had the most drastic changes in the whole family in the past couple years

And it looks like you are scarfing down the calories, which is great for putting on mass. You have had some great improvement in just a short time, so my only advice is to keep it up! TomLane
Mate, you've made INSANE progress. Great job! I'm almost exactly the same build (including height and weight) that you were in pic 1, so any extra info on how you did this would be great. What's your routine like? How much cardio are you getting? etc.
