robert Posted February 15, 2007 Author Share Posted February 15, 2007 So far I'm the only "All American Kid" I was a 5-sport athlete in high school, fairly popular but not a jock, and I was also heavily involved in Students for Peace through Global Responsibility (SPGR) and co-President with davidtarrfoster of the Pro Wrestling club. I was nice to everyone from the nerds to the jocks to the artsy kids to the quiet kids. School was fun for me. I enjoyed everything about high school except waking up early. I'm not a morning person. I dressed super alternatively as a sophomore, junior and senior, but could pull it off because I was also into so many sports. So rather than it being "weird," it was "cool." I'm happy to have started trends back in my high school and I have a lot of good memories from my time there. My 10 year reunion is coming up in less than 2 years so it should be fun! Michelle Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 I don't even need to take the test to know that I was the weird nerdy supershy outcast kid who hung out with the other five nerdy outcast kids. We'd throw parties that nobody would show up for, sometimes not even each other. I was so weird, even the D&D kids wouldn't hang out with me. I would've been voted "most shy" or something in our high school yearbook, if not for the fact that nobody knew who I was. But yeah, the test told me I was "arty" Go figure. I wasn't that way in high school, but within certain high school groups I was, and before high school I was pretty shy as a young kid. jonzen Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 I hung out with a group in high school called "The Misfits", we all wore black and went barefoot often, I carried around fresh bunches of carrots with their tops on, the first in school to wear work clothes. I was kind of a loner then, and I guess I still am to some degree, but I have learned social skills to make things easier. I follow my heart now and not so much my head. I don't think I was what the test results say, I was more artsy.
