Wobbly Lifter
Hey everyone. I'm quite the regular over at www.veganfitness.net, and I lurk and post here ever once and a while. My main interests are Powerlifting and Olympic Lifting(which I don't do enough of). I'm about 70kg right now, but am in the process of bulking. Was up to almost 75kg in January but got really sick last month and lost a lot.

Wobbly Lifter
Thanks Matt. I don't really think of myself as a bodybuilder though.

robert
Welcome! I remember you liked the bodyweight squats a while back and I know we've been in touch on myspace and on vegan fitness a bit. Thanks for saying hi on here. I'm sure you'll see some familiar faces and many unfamiliar faces too. I remember seeing some of your squat videos a while back. Good stuff! All the best and welcome aboard!

Guest
How heavy is your clean and snatch???
Wobbly Lifter
I've clean and jerked 65kg, power cleaned 72.5kg, and snatched 45kg. The power clean and snatch were not max effort though. I'm just getting into these lifts so my numbers are pretty sad.

Once you get used to the movements it will be much easier. I remember in HS when the football players started doing the lifts they couldn't really lift much. Some could squat 500lbs but only clean 185lbs while a friend of mine from Germany(he was actually Chilean but grew up there) could only squat 250lbs but could clean 200lbs since he said he's been doing cleans since he started lifting.
