  1. I know feels good though doesn-t it? I-m going to start on this now for BIceps http://builtblog.wikidbody.com/category/move-exercises-i-really-like/ You should check it out because each training routine is only effective for a limited time, as I-m sure you know. I being doing the shoulder workout from the same site and its amazing!
  2. It-s got NOTHING to do with being a women! I also NEVER said anything about meat consumption, that obviously is neither here nor there. What I-m saying is that I dont think any bodybuilders reach professional level without taking drugs..yep, you can compete whatever your physique if you pay the entry fee, but get to the top of the sport? No way... It appears that you/re getting angry at me for saying this but I-m not the one who created the situation..its just a sad observation of mine! I-ve only ever met a few professional female bodybuilders and they all had deep voices, wide jaws, a 4 o clock shadow and a clit like a fun sized mars barI Maybe they are not all like that but I have yet to see a female professional bodybuilder who isnt. But i suppose you can get vegan steroids so anyone out there who wants to compete seriously in a BB knows what to do! I-ve seen many friends, all male I must add, destroy their bodies and health with steroids. After the first couple of cycles they usually look great, but steroids are addictive and they just dont stop until they end up HUGE! And you have to think that when they get so big, the only time they actually look muscular is when they compete..at all other times they just look like fat bastards . I-ve known the lads from my gym since we were in school together and they look like shit now and a few of them have problems with their hearts, serious problems from taking steroids..personally I dont think its worth it and that kind of humongous size is not attractive in my opinion. So tell me, HTF does a natural BB compete SERIOUSLY against these people?
  3. What in Bodybuilding?..I-m talking about bodybuilding here...
  4. Yep I-m eating seitan and tofu...but I need something to eat with them or some new ways of cooking them! Anyways,so few carbs is giving me migranes..gonna give the UD2 a rest after I finish this week..still not lost all the fat I wanted to
  5. Hey! Hows the cutting going? Do a google search for " daredevils are shredded" Has excellent advice for fat burning cardio
  6. Any of you do static stretching before your workout? Chack out this article http://miketnelson.blogspot.com/2009/02/static-stretching-good-or-bad.html I-ve never ever seen a serious bodybuilder stretch before they start their routine and I always used to stretch a lot..but then I read some stuff about how it decreases your strength and stopped stretching..i just do 15 or so reps of a general exercise to hit the muscle i-m going to work..according to this article this is a much better idea for BB. I do stretch because I find I-m losing flexibility as i get older, but I stretch occasionally at night or the weekend when I have a lot more time and when I-m watching TV or something..if not it gets too boring!
  7. Cool Marcina! You-re doing really well! I-ve never been that slim...but dude..you should take advantage of that fact! Put concentration curls first in your routine and work with a drop series, this will give your Bi-s more peak in no time at all and will look excellent on your arms!
  8. Yeah, no doubt! Even if by some miracle I could gain enough muscle mass to compete, there's no way an uncoordinated klutz like me can do that acrobatic shit! hahahha!! Its not about whether or not I could do it, actually I did a lot of gymnastics as a kid and can still do some flick flacks and the like..its about not wanting to do it. WTF do you have to do that shit? I know in the rules it says you have to demonstrate flexibility and posture..but it says the same in the mens rules and I don-t see them prancing around like cheerleaders on coke! But then again I suppose the answer is obvious if we stop to think for a second...men invented the competitions and most judges are men! I think the reason I started BB was to show men that women don-t have to be weak {and to show meat eaters that vegans can be really strong} and yep..I-m stronger than your average guy who doesn-t go to the gym now. but its sad that the only way we vegan women can get proper recognition for our success in the sport is to pander to some male cheerleader fantasy. Because lets be honest, maybe a natural vegan bodybuilder could compete competitively in the fitness or figure categories, but without taking hormones none of us will ever be big enough to enter a BB competition. You only have to go to a few competitions to see that the bulges in the womens bikini bottoms are almost as big as those in the mens trunks because their clit has actually converted into little penis!! I can-t imagine a vegan woman doing that to herself..we-re FAR too intelligent!!!
  9. Give this a go...hemp and pea protein crackers! I normally mix a scoop of pea protein with fresh pineapple juice and it tastes ok, but I devised this recipe for low carb days hemp oil *or any other oil you have 10g hemp seeds finely ground *you could use protein powder just I don-t have any 50g Baking powder 1 tsp (5g) Nuts, almonds, blanched, ground 33g Pea protein 200g Vegetable oil, coconut *or any other oil you want 1 tsp (5g) I-ve also added ground flax seeds although these aren-t counted in the nutritional analysis. Basically mix the dry ingredients with sufficient water to make a dough, devide into 16 balls and flatten out as thinly as possible with the palm of your hand on an oiled surface..they get to be about 5 inches wide, any thicker and they wont crisp up. Bake in a moderate oven until starting to brown. Each cracker provides 95kcal, 1.5g carb, 4.7g fat and 11.6g protein.
  10. ,,,and I-ve being looking for something to do with my goji berries..they taste like crap but apparently have a lot of amino acids
  11. Hey..i know its not the same but I make a spinach smoothie very often with a lot of spinach in it. I combine it with orange juice and kiwi and it tastes really nice..maybe you could try it with your protein powder...
  12. Have you seen the arganine in the gemma protein? SO much! I remember reading that they were using arganine supplements to treat erectile dysfunction as apparently it has a similar effect to viagra..so out of curiosity, I was wondering if any of your guys had noticed any "unusual" side effects? Also to answer your question about the difference between pea and soy protein..I-ve tried both and aside from the fact that pea protein tastes like ass, I-ve had much better results using pea protein. I retained much more water using soy and have lost a lot of fat using pea..i can-t put it down to changes in my general diet or exercise routine so it must be the protein! I-ve also tried hemp which I love and plan to buy some soon. I-m of the belief however, that combining your own proteins is the safest bet. I wouldn-t buy them pre/combined because it always costs more and Im on a budget..but I would def like to have a pot of each to cycle them! By the way, if I-m drinking my pea protein i always mix it with 250gm of fresh pineapple juice which removes the need to take additional bromelain and also helps disguise the taste
  13. I-ve had green, pink and red in my past..but that was in the time before digital cameras! I-ve also had locks down to my ass..they were a violet type colour and then platinum blonde..its fun to experiment..if you bleach your hair white it will take about any vegetable dye easily..problem is that strong colours wash out and rub off...on your pillow, clothes etc. They can also dye your bathtub so be careful to check that-s its not porous if its old..oh! and if you sweat a lot in the gym the colour will come offf there too!! You will probably have to wear darker colour clothes. I always used a brand called crazy colour which wasn-t tested on animals but I don-t know if its available outside the UK.
  14. Who are the famous female fitness competitors? I-d like to do a fitenss competition but I can-t stand all the prancing around you have to do..it-s the feminist in me! Men pose and have to do a posing routine..but to me, the female fitness routines are very sexual and I don-t like that angle..infact it really pisses me off! I-m old enough to compete in the veteran category now and it would be a nice challenge but I dont know if they expect veteran fitness competitors to do acrobatics and other movements that would require me to glue my bikini to my ass!
  15. Wow..that looks so cool! gonna try it first thing monday! Shit man! That was awesome! Did it twice in a row believe it or not...I was in the gym on the running machine and i don-t think I-ve ever sweated so much!! Got off the machine with my face as red as a strawberry, with everyone looking at me! hahahha Calves are KILLING me today which makes me really happy..the bastards never grow no matter how I work them..just never tried running so fast before, I had the machine up to the max!
  16. Wow..I didn't realise! Well I downloaded fitday pc this morning and spent the whole afternoon inputting values of things i commonly eat..so I can't face doing it all again at the mo
  17. nice... Just wish all u guy were a bit more metrosexual
  18. Wow..that's SO cool!! This is just the most convenient tool..and for free!! THANKS! Well actually..I'm editing this post now..I've being using this programme for a day and I don't think it's the one for me...Its just you can only input ingredients and can't save recpies..so for things I eat often like baked tofu, TVP porridge, pea and hemp protein biscuits etc...I have to input ALL the ingredients everytime I eat them! (correct me if I'm wrong...) Also, if it doesn't have an ingredients you can't input it manually and some of the values are a bit off....their soy milk has loads more carbs than the one I use..like 3 times more!! etc. I think it would be useful for weekends when my diet isn't so strict just to get a rough idea of macronutrients eaten, but during low carb days I prefer something a little more adaptable and accurate and a system that can save my recipes. I tried fitday before and like it, but sometimes I feel like a "data entry administrator" and get a bit pissed off inputting numbers into my pc. I don't mind doing the diet but my training routine as well? Uff! No thanks..I'll stick to a pen and paper because I use so many drop series, super series, negatives etc it would be a nightmare to keep track of them on fitday..although for someone who follows a much more "standard" training routine and doesn't change their workout every couple of days, this would be ideal.
  19. . Personally, I prefer a program called CRON-O-METER - it's really easy to use, very informative (breaks your diet down into p/c/f percentages, shows how you're doing micronutrient-wise relative to RDAs, et cetera) and has quite a large food database. If you're interested, you can download it on the net for free, just type "cron-o-meter" in teh Googles Wow..thanks! gonna download that and check it out!
  20. I've found the website - I'll check it out, thanks! The only problem is that the diet outlined there is for maintenance and I want to lose some flab. I also just started reading the book itself That should clear it up. Well I'm on about 50g carb and 1,200kcal a day..that's not for maintenance! Get to the last eentries..it should be the vegan diet which i uploaded today
  21. No probs..i've just uploaded a weeks workout and diet plan onto the vegeterian bodybuilding forum. Somethings happened to my pc so i can't send you the link, but if you do a google search "UD2 diet vegeterian" you'll find it no probs. There is also a complete workout and diet plan (although he is vegeterian) from Steve holt on that site. Its quite interesting to read his whole training log when he was on the UD2. Its a tough diet but effective and if you can get through how completely sh*t you feel during the first week, it gets a lot easier and the results spur you on! If for some reason you can't find what i uploaded, let me know and I'll leave you a copy on this site. I would also recommend buying some electronic scales if you don't already have some, and using one of the on-line sites to calculate your nutrients. It's a bit of a pain in the ass at first because they don't have many speciality vegan foods in their lists and you have to imput numbeers manually, but once you have a few ingredients and recipes saved it really is an invaluable tool on the UD2 diet. I found it took up quite a lot of work the first two weeks but then it was only about 10 minutes a day after that. I use a webpage called "Nutritionaldata know what you eat" again, sorry but I can't send you the link. hopefully I'll get my pc sorted out and be a bit more useful! Anyway, anymore questions and I'd be happy to help.
  22. These contests led to Octopussoir becoming perhaps the top vegan bodybuilder in the US right now Who is the top vegan femal bodybuilder in the world now? I tried to google it but to no success...
  23. IBUR killed me. I loved it. Took me a good while to catch my breath and make sure I wasn't going to let lose a torrent of pre-digested food. The article it is mentioned is is here. Wow..that looks so cool! gonna try it first thing monday!
