  1. Hey Offence. the words that you've posted are so brilliant and inspiring. Thanks! Just wanted to say that I don't agree with this part of the first quote. In my opinion, vaccines and antibiotics are two of the most important things that happened in medicare, ever. well... if you'd take some time and make a small research of yourself, you might change you mind i provide you with some interesting links http://www.relfe.com/vaccine.html https://www.nvic.org/ http://www.vaccines.plus.com/ http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/vaccines.htm http://www.vaclib.org/news/2006/gardasil.htm http://www.whale.to/vaccines/kalokerinos.html http://www.nvic.org/Diseases/HPV/HPVHOME.htm
  2. i seriously doubt this. Animal food and dairy is not made for human consumption. We broke nature laws and now we pay the price with all the health problems, and degenerative diseases that plague human kind.
  3. i started loosing my hair before i was a vegan. from what my doctor said, it was due to unhealthy diet. Also, vegan diet insn't necessarily healthy. One can eat french fries and chips and white sugar and carbonated, caffeinated drinks and alcohol and smokes and and.... Living in an unhealthy polluted environment is also a considerable factor along with the above mentioned. quitting my unhealthy habbits and introducing nutritional yeast in my diet helped me alot to stop the hair falling
  4. What? !!! you will wait till December for season3??? well, it is remarkable that you can refrain from downloading season 3 online for free and watch it in 3-4 days!!!!!!!!
  5. this is an incredible thread! My dreams are to be healthy, and make my body the way i want it to be (sorry if it sounds a bit shallow ). I also dream to be with people that love me and i love. Another one is to ride a huge number of the extremest roller coasters in the States and in Japan and of course travelling to Antarctica, New Zealand and Hawaii. Money issues and my job, unfortunately, won't let me do whatever i want. But when it comes to health and body, now that i've found you, i sense that it'll be a bit easier
  6. that's very good for you guys living there
  7. hi, and welcome aboard. vegans, don't eat animal food. Usually, a vegan doesn't use animal products whatsoever. this site is about athletes and bodybuilders and people who care about their body and health and want to improve it (that's me ) and don't eat animal products
  8. thanks veganpotter. Now, my plans for the winter is to subscribe to a swimming pool and buy an elliptical machine.
  9. Yes, offense. i think bread in my country is more or less like yours. the only unhealthy ingredients but still vegan are salt and refined sugar. When there are non vegan ingredients, the bread is called cheese-bread or something p.s. by the way the most delicious vegan whole bread is made by my vegan mother (non hydrogenated fats, no sugar, with olive oil!)
  10. Boy, am i jealous! i don't find passion fruits in Greece!
  11. hey Tasha. Maybe i didn't make myself clear. i didn't suggest a 100% raw vegan diet as this would be rough for a person making their first steps. It's even hard for me who am a 4 year vegan. I only said that it would be good to move into a more raw diet with less refined food. that's all. by the way why whole breads aren't vegan? i had no idea. Do they contain any milk or cheese
  12. i agree with the above. However, eating ONLY bannanas may not be healthy for more than a week or two, as our body needs other nutrients as well from other fruits.
  13. Zack, i respect your opinion and beliefs. i just happen to have a different opinion because in the past i was really sick and nothing from the contemporary "chemical" doctors and their drugs did me no good. Now i'm healthy because of a nearly raw vegan diet and i simply cannot forget this. peace
  14. If we were fruitarians, outside civilazation, we would be forced to search and find the fruits seeds and veggies that we need in the nature according to every specific season... We adobt to the external circumstances for our survival that's why people started eating meat one day. But that's not an evidence that we're omnivores biologically speaking. An animal can do alot of things to survive. even eating each other... cucumbers , tomatoes, kale and others were not man's inventions. there were wild in nature too. it doesnt. i just wanted to say that there are alot of theories of which some we believe while others not. I dont believe the theory that man's brain evolved because of eating animals. that's all..
  15. Many ladies that i have dated thought about a man being a vegan as a strange thing. It's true that alot of people think that veganism is just another diet for girls trying to be in shape! It's preposterous how our society brainwashes us! Being who you are will prove that manhood has nothing to do with meateating...
  16. hahahaha It's ok Robert. i understand that when one is into bodybuilding the term "natural" is totally different. What's good for you may not be good for those not into bodybuilding because they can't understand i suppose.. well my ideal physique would be that of Henry Rollings in the picture posted above by xChriszx
  17. we obviously disagree. I know people and families living with fruits veggies and nuts (i include raw vegans) for more than 10 years. honestly i'm not lying. ok this is said by omnivores to back up their diet but really do you think it's really canines for cutting flesh? come on.. it's way different than other omnivores' canines (like dogs f.e.) Omega 3 can be found in abundance in flaxseed and others (which i can't recall right now). Concerning Vitamin B12 as a bacteria which is naturally sinthesised in the intestine and the relative deficiency, i should remind that many omnivores have B12 deficiency too. Also, not all vegans (for more than 5 years) have B12 deficiency at all. There are theories that support the idea of the disability of B12 sinthesis in our intestine due to cooked food and higly sterilized environment and soil in our modern time. Many raw vegans and fruitarians have no such deficiency at all! try checking this if you'd like http://www.rawfoodexplained.com/why-we-should-not-eat-meat/the-vitamin-b12-hoax.html there is also the theory that all sickness and deseases are due to animal products eating without leting the body heal iitself using its natural food When it comes to survival and there are no fruits and veggies around, i agree with you. But otherwise i believe it is mostly not natural to eat animals and their milk (which by the way is meant by nature for calves and baby goats etc. just like another mammal i know which is called Human).
  18. wow.. is it natural for all these vains to show like this? i mean muscle growth is beautiful, but this? i guess it's a matter of personal taste
  19. Welcome Mueller. you'll see that going vegan is the best gift you could make to yourself. i'd recomment you to try moving into a more fruity-veggie, raw diet and less processed food diet. quitting carbonated drinks and refined white sugar along with refined white rice and bread would also give you an extra boost healthwise. you can eat brown, wild rice and whole bread istead. and raw cane unrefined sugar in place of the white crystallic... try it step by step and you'll see a huge difference
  20. well, yeah, if you try and cut raw kale in really thin stripes and add some garlic and olive oil with lemon it's Delicious! But i guess it's a matter of personal taste
