  1. Breakfast: 1 scoop Vanilla Vega with water

I like the berry much more in just water than vanilla.

I'll try the vanilla in a smoothie tomorrow.

Morning Workout: 40 minutes on treadmill

Daily Eats: Fruit smoothie, a couple food bars (thanks L&G and Dani)

    Rice and veggies, medjool dates.

    No evening treadmill

Sat down at my computer and started playing Battlefield 2 online

  2. But i had thje strangest dream about my mom selling off my pet chickens (which i do not actually have) to some farmer who was going to slaughter them.....so i kicked my mom's ass.....

Honestly this is the first dream i've had of my mother soince i moved across the country in october....and i was straight-up punching her in the face. HOW TERRIBLE IS THAT?

sheesh, i feel the need to calll her and apologize.

Dani, are you planting the idea of having strange dreams in people's mind?

Here is my strange dream from last night.

Costco had 5 gallon buckets of ice cream on sale: 3 for $10

We had trouble finding the lids for the ice cream though.

Especially one, because it was a square bucket.

Who would buy ice cream that you need to look for the lids.

I got vanilla, chocolate and some other light brown colored one.

The "other" flavor was the one in the square bucket.

I couldn't fit one of these buckets in my freezer.

What does my dream mean, Dani?

  3. Thanks everybody.

I still remember being told I would become diabetic from eating so much fruit.

Turns out I was diabetic eating a mostly Atkins style diet.

Now on a high carb diet, my blood sugar is dropping to normal.

Let the meat heads figure that one out.

I still need to improve my diet. More greens especially.

  4. I got my blood test back recently.

I can't remember my previous Fasting Blood Sugar result.

It was above 200 if my memory is correct.

Now it is at 120, still what they consider pre-diabetic.

Since I'm going in the right direction, I call it ex-diabetic.

The only numbers that I had above normal were triglycerides and blood pressure.

Those will most likely take care of themselves after I lose the rest of my excess fat.

    Drug Free.

  5. Breakfast: qt of ABC juice

    Morning Treadmill: 60 minutes

Daily Eats: Lentil Soup, 2 Lara Bars, Dates.

Not a real healthy day of eating, get on track tomorrow.

Went to the High School graduation of a cousin.

They had a big BBQ, those are always fun.

I think this was the first time I wasn't offered a hamburger at a family gathering.

  6. I'm into BBQ's anyway! I love my grill (grilled marinated portobello & corn on the cob last night).... whens dinner???

I have never been to a place I didn't like. I hear Montana's landscape is breath-taking. I bet pictures do not do it justice.

Sadly mushrooms aren't on many BBQs in Montana.

Montana is a very beautiful state, the Western part more than the Eastern.

In the East it is rolling hills, not really green though, but still nice.

In the West we have the Rocky Mountains, doesn't get much better than that.

If anybody ever comes to Montana I'll take them up the Beartooth Highway.

    http://www.beartoothhighway.com/

Potter passed through town a couple years ago and we went up the mountain.

I think he would recommend that trip to everybody.

At the end of that road is Yellowstone Park, another beautiful place.

  7. Thank you Robert for posting this question in another thread.

Do you keep an online training/blog journal?

The only progress that I've made in the last couple years is when I kept a good journal here.

In the last year I've started and stopped a few times.

As a result, no results for me.

    Goal Number 1: Get Lean!

    Goal Number 2: Get Strong!

If I get lazy again please yell at me, don't be nice either.

I don't have any goals right now to get big like those Vegan Brothers in Iron.

    Health is my primary motivator.

I estimate that I would be about 160 pounds if I were lean.

So that is my goal weight, but it isn't set in stone, I'll know when I get there.

After I get lean, then I'll concentrate on strength.

    My Diet:

Vegetables and fruit with some nuts and seeds.

Green smoothies, fresh juice made by me.

Lots of raw leafy greens everyday, at least a pound.

I don't like the raw vs cooked debate, but my diet will be mostly raw.

That's just the way I prefer most food.

There are some veggies that I prefer cooked, so that's how I eat them.

    Today's Workout

40 minutes on the treadmill in the morning

40 minutes on the treadmill in the evening

  8. Do you keep an online training/blog journal?

The time that I've seen my greatest losses (weight) were when I kept a daily journal here.

I find now that I don't keep a journal, my progress has stopped.

Wonder what I need to do?

Gearing up for another move (yep again), so hopefully after I get settled in

    Where you moving to now?

Some vegans need to start moving to Montana.
