  1. Why are there 2 CPU fans in there? What socket/chipset is that motherboard? I have never seen that.

Is the 2nd CPU fan for a powerful onboad GPU? If so why is there a card in the AGP slot?

There are 2 CPU fans because there are 2 CPU sockets.

Intel 875 Chipset, dual socket 604 Intel Xeon CPUs.

It is an Asus PC-DL motherboard

I built this system back before Dual Core CPUs were out.

The only way to get 2 cores was 2 sockets.

Here is a pic of the CPUs with the heatsinks and fans removed.

  2. Not into tv's, but I do have a badass computer.

My computer is 4 years old, in it's day it was a badass.

My TV has been unplugged for about 2 years.

I do rent movies and watch some sci-fi online.

I watch everything on my computer.

Not the biggest screen, but when you're just a couple feet away, big isn't needed.

Sound system is good too, Logitech THx speakers hooked up the the computer.

Also Carver PreAmp, Adcom Power Amp and Polk Speakers.

  3. Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Why?

A: I do like living in Montana except for the winters and the very expensive food.

The cold weather doesn't bother me.

Just very poor selection of ripe food here during the cold months.

I don't think that I'll ever live outside the USA, but I won't say it will never happen.

Florida, Texas, California, Hawaii, or Portland sound good.

Someplace with a farmer's market year round.

Q: Why don't you make it happen?

A: The only thing keeping me in Montana is my business.

If I could sell it for what I would like to get for it, I would be outta here.

I'm happy being anyplace warm with live fruit trees.

That would be a dream come true, pick what you want to eat.

  4. If I went by that guideline, even for health, I'd look so bad that people would literally be throwing food at me, begging me to eat something For me to fathom weighing in around 165, I'd look like Christian Bale in The Machinst with that super-anorexic style look.

You are right, almost anybody using that formula would be called anorexic, skinny, scrawny, unhealthy etc.

My response was purely for health.

The old pinch an inch at the waist is a very good, very easy guideline to use.

I dont' care how much I weigh, I just want to wear my high school 501 jeans again.

The Longer Your Waistline, The Shorter Your Life

As a good rule of thumb: for optimum health and longevity, a man should have no more than one-half inch of

skin that he can pinch near his umbilicus (belly button) and a woman should not have more than one inch.

Almost any fat on the body over this minimum is a health risk. If you have gained even as little as ten pounds

since the age of eighteen or twenty, then you could be at significant increased risk of health problems as

heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. The truth is that most people who think they are at the

right weight still have too much fat on their body.

  5. Well after a couple months of laziness, I'm finally getting off my butt.

Going to the gym more regularly lately.

My right should has been really bothering my for a while, so I haven't been lifting much.

It's feeling better and I've been doing light weights.

    Breakfast: 2 bananas

    Morning Inclined Treadmill: 60 minutes

Eats: Raisins, ABC Juice, more juice

Workout: 10 facing wall squats, 10 goblet squats, 10 overhead squats

2 bananas and 40 minutes on the inclined treadmill
