  1. I'll have to see in time. I have a long ways to go, but i have big plans
  2. Lean and Green: I would a couple questions for you. I'm pretty sure i asked you this before, but how long have you been raw? What was your weight when you starting? What was the lowest you got on raw foods?
  3. How many Non Steroided Cooked foodist are out there doing that? There might be a couple here and there but not many. U have to remember for every raw foodist there is probably 10,000 cooked foodist, so the odds arn't there. Then most of the Raw foodist would rather do yoga and sit in the forrest all day. There are very few raw foodist and very few of them are men that lift and are serious about strength
  4. More raw garbage... Muscle is muscle. As far as bodybuilders not putting up heavy weight, search youtube for "ronnie coleman 2300 pound leg press" or "ronnie coleman 800lb deadlift" and tell me that again. Secondly, bodybuilders don't train for strength they train for size, you want to put up heavy weight do some low rep strong man training. I serious doubt muscle is muscle. Becasue i've done a little bit of both kinds of dieting. Same kind of training the whole time. When i was in High School I was about 210 with about the same about of body fat i am at now at 170 and i'm allmost as strong now as i was then. My muscle Stamina is better than it's ever been. Back then i use to do every they said to do in the muscle mags and i took a ton of crap supplements. And i'm not that Impressed with a guy that's shoots him self full of Steroids all day and eats and lifts the rest of the day weighing over 300 deadlifting 800 pounds. The guy is also going to have a heart attact by the time he's 50
  5. Squats and Deads are my main focus becasue has far as usable strength goes those are the to most important for grappling. I've been going pretty light with my deads like around 225 and a little over becasue my grip is much weaker than my back. I used to use these things called One Ton hooks that make it so you don't have to grip the weights on deads and i worked my way up to about 365, but that was a mistake because i built up the strong back muscles with a terriable grip.
  6. That's pretty good. I just do a couple little warm up sets of 135 then go to the 235. Your 100 percent raw right? Thats pretty crazy your 200 pounds eatting all raw. I'm all raw also and around 170 with a decent amount of fat on me. I'd be shredded at about 155 but i don't really want to lose the fat until i gain more muscle becasue i hate looking really small. Do you know any thing about the difference between cooked and raw muscle? I've heard that the healthier you eat(raw being the best) the more functional the muscle you do put on will be and also the more stamina your muscles will have. That sounds logical becasue you look at body builders out there with huge muscles that are roiding that arn't putting up huge numbers in the gym. Since i'm a grappler and plan to complete in MMA i want be be the strongest i can be at the lowest weight.
  7. Recently I've really gotten back into squats. For a while there I forgot the importance for athletics and now i put them as my most important lift. How much do you guys Squat for like 8 reps? I'm talking full sqauats all the way down. Please put your height and weight. I've started light since i'm just back into them. I'm 5'11'' 170 and have been doing 235
  8. It is impossible to be a 100 percent vegan. Think about if your driving a car or buying anything that has been driven in a car which is 100 percent of the population your responisble for killing of some animals. Not to mention there are animals killed in the vegtable growing process. So complaining about someone eatting Bee Pollen is a little over board.
  9. Yes it is considered a bee product, but what bee pollen is the sexual fuild of the plants that the bee grab. so it's not like a chicken hatching a egg
  10. This is a vegan board. Bee pollen is not vegan. I don't know how many times I have to tell you goofy raw people that honey and bee shit is not vegan. Typical vegan eliteisium it is attitudes like that that turn alot of people off to being a Vegan. Bee Pollen is actually just the pollen of the plants and is not a bee product but is made using the energy of the bee's
  11. SOme honey is Raw. I never eat Honey though. It's good for you, but i try to limit my Sugar intake. THe main Reaon i eat Bee Pollen is the B 12 content. SOme other foods claim to B 12 like Sprulina and chollea, but they also have something that block B 12 so you just break even from what i've heard.
  12. Here you go: http://www.vegetus.org/honey/honey.htm If you are thinking to yourself, "But I'm a vegan for health reasons" or "I'm a vegan for environmental reasons," please reconsider how you label yourself. Unlike the word vegetarian, the word vegan specifically implies moral concern for animals, and this concern extends to all areas of life, not just diet. If you do not believe in animal equality, please consider referring to yourself as someone who doesn't eat animal products, as one who follows a plant-based diet, or as one who follows a vegan diet. Additionally, anyone who eats honey, yet refers to herself as a vegan, makes life difficult for other vegans--it's like having someone who eats fish and calls herself a vegetarian. When a vegetarian comes along, it is much harder for her to explain that fish is not acceptable for vegetarians. I never noticed this "note" before. I don't label myself as any thing. I don't eat the way i do to fit in or be cool. I never eat any thing that is cooked or processed. If Bee Pollen is not considered Vegan fine then i'm a raw Veg.
  13. I recommend back briding. If you do any type of grappling this is one of the most important exercies, so if your looking for a strong neck look into what good grapplers are doing. It looks dangerous, but in my opinion it's dangerios to do any extreme type sport without alot of neck strengh and flexablity. Not only does it make your neck strong it makes your spine strech out. Before doing alot of neck bridging i had alot of back problems, but now my back is much better
  14. Wow 5'11'' 120. The lowest i got was 145 with about 4 percent body fat at 5'11'' what were your lifts like at that weight?
  15. I don't see what the problem is with consuming bee products as long as the bee's are treated great. Bee Pollen is probably the most complete food on the planet. If i had to survive on one food for the rest of my life i'd pick bee pollen.
  16. If i'm not mistaken Mesquite powder is one of the highest sources. If you've never eatten that before it's really good. Natural Zing has it really cheap
  17. I've read it from many different sources and allso i've taken alot of different cratine brands and have had alot of different Alternative health practictioner muscle test the stuff and every one negativly effected both mine and my friends kidneys and liver. Any thing that is made by made is not good for you. but if getting up a couple extra reps is more important than your health that is your call.
  18. You shouldn't take creatine at any age. It's terriable for your liver and kidneys. All it does is add Water weight and give you a little better muscle stamina. Which disapears after you stop taking it. Just lift hard and eat big!! What's your height and weight?
  19. You have to keep in mind that doctors only know what they have been taught. Most have no clue about nutrition unless they studied it by themselves. Doctors know two things Surgery and Drugs. The best source of Iron is Dark Green Leavy greens and grasses. Meat is not really a good souce unless you were a carnivore and were eatting it raw. tell your find to study some raw food books like David Wolfe's and the Ph miricle and also Brendan Brazier's book the Thrive Diet. Those are the best books even if you don't want to eat all raw, that's were your going to get your good nutrition.
  20. Well alot of fruits are missing the same amino acids, so there's a possiblity you could be eatting a large amount of protein but not getting complete protein which is a major problem. So it's good to eat a few foods that are complete, or at least research that your mixing and matching imcomplete protein to make a complete protein.
  21. You need alot more green becasue all the foods you mentioned are a little acidic. This would case fatigue. Not sure if all the foods your eatting add up to a complete protein so it would be wise to add a raw complete protein.
  22. I thought you where older. For a full grown male 6'2'' 145 would be way under weight. Good luck with the raw food diet. I eat all raw food allso
  23. Never heard of someone being 6'2'' 145 before. You where only 150 eatting cooked foods? What cooked food where you eatting?
  24. That's bad ass you meet Randy. Is he a full 6'1'' like he's listed becasue you look taller than him in that pic
  25. True you need complete protein or at least combine foods in a meal to make complete proteins, but there are tons of plant foods that are complete by themselves. Hemp being one of them
