  2. Just an example, not really the best for what you want. http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=795552 If you use google search (under scholar, you can find it under the 'more' button) You can search tons of scholar journals and research projects done.
  3. I had my third session with my trainer tonight. INSANE!! The burn is unreal, I have actually never had that burn before. That being said, if I saw the results I saw doing the junk I was doing I am going to see some serious results We are going to bulk up and than cut down. I'm thinking I should aim for a competition of sorts. My goal is fitness modeling (hopefully Oxygen, how could would that be?!?!?!) Also, I finished my Physical Therapy today. I am not seeing anymore progress there so I might try acupuncture. Has anyone tried this? what were the results? I have all the exercises I need to keep the pain in my neck and shoulder at minimum, but I can get the knot in my neck neck/trap region to go away.
  4. works for me, I'll try to get there as close to 6:30 as I can I work out with my trainer from 5-6pm. this will give me motivation to get through the torturous workout
  5. Tuesday after 6:30 would be fine ( I meet with my trainer on Tuesday). I can do tonight (Monday) but it would not be the best for me (I have to study for a Spanish quiz I have tomorrow) unless of course you guys want to help, But I am able to do tonight (it may be better time wise for you guys) I can study after dinner.
  6. Hope I get to eat with you guys, I won't be able to do any lunches except for today. If not, have fun!
  7. Why don't we just wait until we can all get together. What day is best?
  8. see you guys at 1pm can't wait to get some yummy food at Java green!
  9. I had a great workout last night...killed my legs, but it felt great! It was nice to learn that there is still more I can do to get over my hump and reach my "freakish results" I hit a plateau when I was working out with my self and I am almost certain I was not consuming enough calories or the right ones.
  10. I'm in for meeting up Java green sounds awesome!
  11. Got the MRI results...no herniated discs thankfully!! I do have some reversal of some nonsense in my spine (I don't understand medical jargon) and minimal bulging of a disc (which I also have in my mid-to-lower back) Basically, It just comes down to Physical Therapy and coping with the pain I have from this and the rotator tendinitis. I am allowed to get back to weights (as long as I don't lift anything over my head for a while) That all being said... I start Personal Training today and will probably start with my new diet plan on Monday ( I admit I will most likely eat everything in sight this weekend) He is able to work with me on the diet and I already blew his mind with tempeh (he had never heard of it) Once he gives me the plan I will most likely need input on how to "veganize" it The trainer told me because I already have low body fat I will see "freakish results" ....AWESOME I told him that one day he'll see me in Oxygen
  12. Psychology with minors in both Dance and Sociology, I will graduate in December (finally ) There will be a vegan vacation next year right?!?!? any thoughts on where it would be?
  13. welcome! I'm sure you'll see awesome results! I was just in Boise earlier this year, you guys have a great co-op! loved all of the coffee houses and the see jane run store. It seems like a city on it's way to being 'veg-friendly'.
  14. This is awesome, I'd never heard of this before. I like the idea of the 80's prom and I am close enough I just might come down for it!
  15. Had to MRI yesterday, just waiting for the doctor to review it and I can get the healing process going. in the meantime both my doctor and physical therapist said I can get back to weights as long as I do what we've discussed and not do any type of shoulder press (not lifting above my head). I will post my actual work-out, it's basically M-W-F legs and abs and Tue-thur-sat. arms and abs. Cardio everyday. there's hope!
  16. http://i44.tinypic.com/izays1.jpg Nicole Costa, she looks freaking AMAZING!! This is my goal, to get as close as my body will allow to looking like this.
  17. I have been researching for a while now, but I have a few questions that maybe people here can answer. I know there are legal steroids (one's that can be found in supplements), what are examples of these? and what are the differences between legal and illegal steroids? also, can someone explain how they are used, I have seen the mention of cycles and stacks, what does this mean? I talked with my professor the other day and she told me to give a brief history of bodybuilding, talk about how and why steroids are used, why bodybuilding is a subculture (common vocab and stuff) and talk about the natural bodybuilding competitions. thanks for all of the help, it is hard to sort through all of the different information, especially when I am very unfamiliar with the vocabulary of steroids.
  18. Ruiner was not my favorite, I was hoping they'd be better. (I used to work at a bookstore with the drummer) I can see what your saying about Paint it Black, they were great live, but I just listened to them online, not as good as I'd hoped. Propagandhi was however perfect. The singer was in a bad mood, but other than that, awesome!
  19. and it was freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!! they played with Ruiner and Paint it Black, all great bands!
  20. Love them!!! I've never seen this Kettle corn flavor, is it really sweet like kettle corn?
  21. Went to the new doctor today, he wants me to have an MRI to see if I have a herniated disc in my neck...awesome.... he also told me he's certain I have rotator cuff tendinitis. Blah, at least this explains all the pain I have been in for the past 6 months!
  22. Blah Blah Blah!! I have been doing cardio a lot. Dance 5 days a week plus cardio at the gym (on most days). still in Physical Therapy with not much change in the swelling and pain in my shoulder. My therapist and I think I should see a different doctor, so tomorrow I have an appointment with another doctor. Hope I can figure out what is wrong, I am seriously getting frustrated not being able to life weights, I feel like I'm doing nothing more but maintaining(somewhat) what I gained. another note, learning Spanish is freaking hard!!!
