Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I heard he was vegan or vegetarian in the 70s but I didn't think he was anymore. I follow him on FB sometimes. I hadn't seen the meal photos, but I think that is a dead give-away he's no longer vegan. And I imagine, certainly not natural. Great physique over the years and he seems highly enthusiastic as he continues to train hard.

I don't like the term "guru" either, and having a few, questionable authoritative figures representing a movement can be troublesome. I personally know most people who were mentioned in that report. I've been around the vegan and raw vegan communities for nearly 20 years so I've seen a lot of stuff and have spent time with a lot of interesting characters. At the end of the day, I think sticking with plant-based whole foods, cooked or raw, is a good way to go. Perhaps it is a good idea to follow lead scientists and doctors rather than gurus who became popular by selling things. Eating healthy plant foods and exercising often seems logical enough.
