  1. Hey, I know I have been talking about sprouts alot recently. Buy Gorilla, did you ever consider of adding sprouts to your diet? Do some research on them, you'll be amazing. Keep in mind that many say you can risk getting bacteria from eating them. To avoid this just make sure to grow them right. Use organic sprouting grains, seeds, etc, grow them properly to ensure safety etc. I jsut ordered like 30$ worth of organic sprouting seeds and grains from a local store and I can't wait to sprout them. Good luck!
  2. The best thing is to grow your own organic sprouts. When you grow your own sprouts you know that they are organic and you can ensure safety by growing them properly. To grow them properly you should do some studying on how to grow them safely. I have recently ordered 30$ worth of organic sprouting grains and seeds. I have about 12 mason jars and alot fo cheese cloth which I will use to sprout them. Sproutpeople.com is an awesome site for extensive advise. Check them out if you want. My seeds and grains should arrive in 2 days and I will let you know how they go. LATER!
  3. I have did a little bit more research on eating grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes. I have found out that when you cook grains, like we as humanity has been doing since we cultivated grains, you de-naturalize it and kill alot of the nutrients in them. Grains are pretty much grass-seeds, inside each grain-seed lies an abundance of nutrients waiting to be sprouted. When you sprout grass-seeds, they are much more nutrient rich and digestible by humans. Only birds can digest un-sprouted grass-seeds without complications. When you sprout grass-seeds alot of the anti-nutrients (or whatever) are eliminated. When you sprout grass-seeds every single nutrient is sky-rocketed. So get sprouting! Same with legumes, when you cook them, like most of us do, you de-naturalize them and they become harmful to our digestion and health. When you cook legumes you mess it's amino acid profile up too. Cooking anything make its harmful to our health, including legumes. When you properly sprout legumes, just like grains, many many of the antinutrients are eliminated and the all of the live giving nutrients are sky-rocketed into space. Legumes are also a type of seed, and humans are not specifically built to consume raw legumes or cooked (because cooking denaturalizes). Only certain species can consume legumes raw because they are built to. But when we cook legumes they are consumable, but they are bad for our health. Anybody who does enough research on raw-diet will soon understand why cooking is toxic to health. This is why raw vegan protein supplements such as Vega and Sun Warrior are superior to any other vegan-plant based vegan protein powders. They both offer brown rice protein products. And guess what?, they first germinize and sprout the rice before they extract the protein from it. By doing this they enhance the nutrient profile and digestibility of the protein supplement. This a fact that support my point is that sprouting grass-seeds, legumes, and even seeds/nuts is a way to make them healthier. I have been about 80-90% raw for about 3 or 4 days now and I feel way better. I feel alot more energetic, brighter, and healthier. By becoming a cooked vegan to a raw vegan you are making a great leap forward into healthiness. Keep an open mind and take my word for it. Do some research if you have the time and become knowledgable of the factors in why cooking anything turns a nutrient packed food waiting to be sprouted, into a de-naturalized toxic food to the body. As I write this I am grateful of the increased cleverness of becoming raw vegan. I am confident that I will be non vegan from now on. Many many benefits to reap from. ADIOS!
  4. Has anyone ever heard of sprouts? I have made the decision to share this knowledge in this forum. Not many people are aware of sprouts, and how age reversing, and health promoting they are. Sprouts are largely consumed by many raw-vegans, mainly for their health-promoting benefits. Sprouts are very inexpensive and can be grown by anyone willing to learn the technique of growing them. All you need is to watch videos on making them, buy some organic sprouting seeds, and a device that will grow them. The cheapest growing device is simply a mason jar with a filter-top that allows you to easily drain and rinse the seeds frequently. Once the sprouts are developed they can be consume in sandwiches, salads, stiry-frys, or as a snack. There is plenty of information on google about sprouts and their AMAZING health benefits. There are also many upon many videos on google that gives sped-by-step intructions on how to grow your own organic sprouts. Sprouts are fully of amino acids, high-quality muscle building protein, living enzymes, and vitamins. There has been alot of controversy on whether it is safe to consume sprouts. But after all of the research that I have done, is to make sure to buy 100% organic sprouting seeds which ensures they are free from bacteria contamination. If they seeds are contaminated at all there is a great chance that this bacteria can greatly grow during the sprouting phase. So if you want to learn more sprouting and it's health benefits, do some extensive study on google, watch many videos on google, and MAKE SURE THE SEEDS ARE ORGANIC. I wish you all perfect health and happyness.
  5. Approximately 8,000 years ago, grains were cultivated and consumed. Prior to that humans have not consumed grains at all. Some say that grains were possibly consumed raw, but the grains available were extremely scarce. Humans existed for approximately 2.3 million years, and through all of that time we evolved through diets that ultimately did not include grains. We are frugivores. Frugivores do occasionally eat meat, but rarely. Frugivores mostly thrive on fruit, and some vegetables, seeds and nuts, plus insects. All primates are classified as frugivores, including humans.
  6. I have did extensive research on raw veganism, and I came across some interesting facts. One fact is that humans are frugivores. We thrive mostly on fruits and greens, maybe roots and seeds/nuts. And yes, this excludes grains. Humans are not granivores, we aren't meant consume grains. Humans have been cultivating and consuming grains for only about 8,000 years. We did not develop the ability to digest and break down grains in a healthy matter. Compared to how long we have existed - 2.33 million years - 8,000 years is a minute fraction. This is also the case for legumes. Legumes have only recently been cultivated and consumed by humans. The beyond veg.com website that I am providing explains in in-depth study in why we as humans are not fully capable of digesting and assimilating grains and legumes in a healthy, energy efficient manner.. http://www.rawfoodexplained.com/the-human-dietetic-character-part-i/are-we-milk-drinkers.html http://www.beyondveg.com/cordain-l/grains-leg/grains-legumes-1a.shtml I am willing to discuss this with others. Please respond with your thoughts on these facts. This thread can be a great eye-opener for many upon many people.
  7. This is cool! I found Robert on an advertsiement of GoVeg.com.
  8. I totally understand what you are saying man. Same with me, ever since going vegan, which was like a month and a half ago I feel so much more clear minded and happier. I know where I am going in life, and I feel more confident than ever. I started meditating about 5 or 6 months ago, I think it guided me towards becoming vegan. By meditating I became more in touch with my inner self, and knowing what it needs. I also understood my inner health more clearly. I have strong confidence and faith veganism will become popular worldwide. Everybody, you must hold this faith, because it is faith that moves mountains.

  10. Welcome to the forum! It's great to hear that you have gone vegan. Dairy, eggs, and meat are totally unecessary. All they do is slow and boggle you down. Have a great day!
  11. Has anyone tried this before? I'm considering the thought of trying it out eventually. I have read the description of it and it seems like to be a good source of energy and recovery. Maybe it could be taken post-workout because of it's high nutrional value, and slow released energy source? Seems like a super food to me
  12. Its great to hear your following a vegan diet, its one of the best decisions you can ever make! Sun warrior protein is definately a great choice to recover quicker from workouts. Sun warrior protein is in fact one of the best (if not the best) raw rice protein product out there. Rice protein is alot healthier than any dairy protein products. Well, any plant based protein product is. Good luck on your weight training!
  13. Your digestive system COULD be lacking sufficient digestive enzymes. Maybe if would supplemented with digestive enzymes your appetite would improve. Pretty soon I will be ordering some, and its only about 6 $ for 90 tablets.
  14. Yes protein powder is great to add. I plan on making many home-made vegan protein bars when I get my vegan protein powders. I am getting 3 lbs of organic hemp protein, 2 lbs of rice protein, 3 lbs of wheat protein isolate, 2 lbs of Vega Whole Food Health Optimizer, and thats it for the protein powders. I'm going make alooooot of protein bars, smoothies, and shakes. I will be working out alot to make up for all of the protein intake.
  15. Thats insane because a couple months ago (when I was a vegetarian), I took casein for about 3 or 4 nights in a row just before bed, and I noticed I was feeling sicker and more acne grew on me. Every since I quit dairy as a whole, I've been feeling way better.
  16. Yo Robert! I'm going to order some Vega Whole Food optimizer off of bodybuilding.com tomorrow. I can't wait to try it! It'll give me so much clarity and mental energy for me to develop my website! lol Once I get my site looking nice I really want to support this product. I pretty much want to support any vegan / organic company / supplements. Anyway, cant wait to try this awesome stuff! Im going to take the blueberry because I figure it would taste good in the morning.
  17. Currently I'm reading a 10-day e-book course on affiliating. I want to deliver excellent, sought-after, valuable content on certain vegan products and to direct customers to them, and make commisions. So far I have learned in this e-book is that to successfully affiliate you are not to try to "Sale", but to "Pre-Sale" i.e get your site visitors in a open-to-buy mind-set that will guide them to products that will be of value to them. Alot of good stuff to learn yet
  18. Update: Just quit my 9-hour a week job. Found out I have enough funds to do me for about a year or so. By then I will be making money online.
  19. Hmm, I wonder if they add any chemicals to their coffee. Well I know there must be pesticides in the coffee beans they use, becuase it is impossible that they buy organic coffee beans..
  20. Awesome! She got rid of dairy. Reason she got acne from it is because of all the pesticides, growth hormones, antibiotics, and millions upon millions of other things thats in milk. Milk is poison.
  21. I love the taste of their black coffee. I heard it's best to drink the coffee black because by adding sugar or cream you eliminate it's natural health benefits. I am unsure if it is a chemical reaction or whatnot. All I know is that black coffee is a great pre-workout aid!
  22. That looks like it would save some money in the long run.
  23. Hmm, I guess blenders aren't made for processing food. I can't wait to get a food processor, then my hummus will turn out like whip cream and not dough lol. Yeah there are expensive food processors out there, it would be awesome to have one. I want to get one of those blenders for shakes, where you can blend your beverage in the cup you plan on drinking it from. I really have to get one because pretty soon I'm expecting some vegan protein powders, like hemp, pea, and wheat protein. There are many hummus recipes out there that you could enjoy. Just try them out, and learn from trial or error whether or not you like them or not. Possibly you could buy already made hummus at a local grocery store, which in turn would save you from the hassle of having to make a batch and then throwing it out.
  24. Hehe, I already got tons of creatine. Its Micronized Creatine by Higher Power. The stuff is amazing. I've been noticing amazing gains since I've been taking it. I'm also taking Glutamine from Optimum Nutrition, great stuff also, makes me recover alot faster. I'll look into getting beta-alanine. Once I get these vegan protein powders, the multivitamin and mineral, and the glucosamine, I'll be well set. Currently I'm taking SuperPump 250 by Gaspari and I really like it, only thing is that is sort of expensive, I'm debating on whether or not I should keep taking it. I just love the stuff, it gives me so much energy to have awesome workouts. A large coffee from Tim Hortons and SuperPump 250 go great together! No you don't mix them together thats a bad idea.
