Good post, I'm sure a lot of people are in your same boat belly fat is a tricky area to target. Gaia gave great advice. What are you doing for exercise to target your core? Also keep your back in mind when working your core you have to balance yourself by working your back muscles as well.

Hadnt seen the gf in 6 weeks and had been working out a ton with Robert so I was sold rock when she came to visit, it felt pretty nice to surprise her with muscles.
New food game, brown rice for breakfast, instead of cereal, I eat it hot with ground flax seeds and chocolate almond milk and blueberries.
Beer drinkers, I started a blog a couple months ago and its started to take off a bit, Im at over 1500 views so far. Here's the link if you're curious. Its a mix of funny crap and good beer.

Strange I just posted a reply and then it disappeared. Welcome to the group here Mark! I wouldn't be so concerned with specific weight numbers. If you are building muscle and getting stronger, what does a scale matter really?

Good stuff Rob. Thanks for sharing. I see this kinda shit all the time. Besides it not being the most effective way to train, its brutal on the body. I think another thing bodybuilders often forget is keeping risk of injury levels in mind. Regardless of your progress an injury can set you back huge lengths of time if not permanently.

Oh nice, you started a journal here with us, awesome. Looks like a good start. You mentioned you are most concerned with your diet in your intro. Maybe keeping tabs on what you eat is also a good thing to track?

Keep it up, glad to see your back and that your're back haha.

Glad you're back! Sweet autographed copy!

Depends what your goals are. I know some people who wear a calorie counter and they love it. Its not for everyone though.

He Jesse, welcome to the group. Nice you were one of the first to get your hands on Robert's book. Glad to hear its motivational.
I got a copy too, actually I helped out with it a bit. Haven't had a chance to read it all yet though.

Are you going to see Robert Cheeke while he is in Adelaide?

Nice work, you can see the difference in your arms and abs for sure. Veins are starting to pop too.

Just keep it light when working with muscle groups around the shoulders but definitely work them and like everyone said give them plenty of rest. If you slowly big more muscles around them like in your arms, back and even core you will hopefully progressively have less strain on your ex-injured shoulder.

Nice start. I would suggest setting a measurable goal like decide how much weight you would like to gain and or how much muscle wait, you could test your body fat, and also a time frame you are shooting to reach these goals by.
-
Have you tried measuring your bmi or body fat?

Whats up Kendrick, nice to see you getting in here and starting to post.

Cheers! What got you to make the switch? Sounds like some goals you'll have to put in some work to achieve! Welcome to the community here.

The powder is easy to find, but finding it fresh is the hard part. I'm not a fan of hot drinks so I think ill stick with just adding it to stuff while cooking.
New workout regiment: number of workouts must be equal or greater than number of beers drank. Doing well so far, past 2 weeks I have had 8 workouts and only 6 beers.

Nice to see newbies like Bruce Lee in here and contributing.

Thanks man! Ive been using the turmeric powder a ton because finding it whole is difficult in nyc, couldnt even find it at a couple of farmers markets.

Thanks for the re-introduction. I remember you. Looks like a fresh new start to your new journal.
