  1. Unbelievable loss 3-4 in extra time in the first round of the playoffs...ugh. I think I need a lesson on shot fakes and cutting. Anyone know of any good online soccer training vids?

Got these bcaa amino hd 1000 supplements but I cant see if they are vegan and I heard after I got them that some are made from animal hair. Anyone know this info? Heard of the brand Diet Standards?

  2. Hi Samantha, welcome to the community here! I've been to Edinborough (but i cant spell it). It was amazing. My sister got frightened to death when she heard a dog that no one else heard in the under the castle ghost tour, and the guide said later that many people often see a ghost dog down there haha.

I would search some key words using the search button in the upper right hand corner to see what has been discussed before related to what you are interested in like alternative protein sources to eggs.

  3. Nice, you power lifters are badass. Much respect. I met a female power lifter at the Seed festival last week. Such an interesting sport and you all work hard.

  5. Good question. I haven't added them up, so I'm not sure.

In general, a breakdown of caloric intake from certain foods looks like this:

    “Healthy Foods”

Salad = 100 calories per pound

Vegetables = 200 calories per pound

Fruits = 300 calories per pound

Starches (potatoes, rice, beans) = 500 calories per pound

Nuts and seeds = 2,000-2,500 calories per pound

    “Popular Foods”

Cheese = 1,700 calories per pound

Chocolate = 1,800 calories per pound

    Potato chips/fries = 2,500 calories per pound

Ice Cream = 3,000 calories per pound

Oil (pure fat) = 4,000 calories per pound

Therefore, looking at the specific foods like fruit or lentil soup can give us some sort of ballpark figure based on the quantity we consume with our best guess as to how that volume relates to pounds.

    Hope that helps a little.
