  3. 25/07 I'm back from a holiday and need to get back into a good routine. I used lighter weights today. Squat 5 x 75 kg 5 x 85 kg 5 x 95 kg 5 x 105 kg 5 x 120 kg Bench 5 x 55 kg 5 x 62.5 kg 5 x 70 kg 5 x 77.5 kg 5 x 85 kg Should not have been as tough as it was.. Barbell Rows 5 x 57.5 kg 5 x 62.5 kg 5 x 67.5 kg 5 x 72.5 kg 5 x 77.5 kg Finished off with some bench dips and a few sets of curls, with my back up against a wall.

  8. 06/07 I trained at home today. I need to get some spotter stands for when I squat..It makes me a bit nervous squatting without them. I just did squats and bench press today because I was getting hungry.. I'll do rows and curls etc tomorrow and then I'm off to Sydney to meet my girlfriend at the airport. She's coming over from the states. We haven't seen each other since January so I'm VERY EXCITED!   14. I was going to respond with some advice but I think VE covered everything. Low bar is a lot more comfortable for me too. With practice you'll learn to hold the bar on your back by squeezing your shoulder blades together. When I squat, my back takes all the weight and my hands are resting on the bar, with straight wrists

  16. Hey mate, I hope you're feeling better soon. Last time I had blood taken I felt like I was going to faint. As soon as I see my own blood I start feeling light headed, but I'm fine being on the other side of things, which is good considering that I'm a nurse.. People think I'm weird because I can sit and watch the surgery on RPA while I eat my dinner.

  19. Haha I hope not! When I visited my girlfriend in the States in December I had a few weeks off from squatting but eventually found a gym over there. I only did light front squats but the following two days were hell. My legs hurt so much that I could hardly walk up and down a set of stairs.
  20. Yeah that's usually what I do. Today I was just going as deep as possible to see how it felt. It felt pretty cool to be able to lift it from a complete pause at the bottom like that.
