I'll be going from 40 degrees c / 104 fahrenheit to freezing cold snowy weather in the states!

Jason
How many human Vegans are there in Montana? If I ever meet one, I'll be suprised. Wow! Welcome to winter buddy! I bet it is beautiful!!!It's finally starting to look nice. It's been about 32 degrees for the last 2 days, so the streets have just been slush. Now it's freezing so the streets are white like everything else.Of course in the morning all that water and slush just below the snow will be ice. CollegeB
Montana seems like a good place. I don't think i'd make much of a living there, but definitely retirement place. I'm an old curmudgeon at heart.

Jason
I'm not sure about the rest of the state.Billings got 13-22 inches depending on what part of town. When I opened my car door in a parking lot, the door scraped snow. I'm going to Red Lodge Montana today, the news said they got 4 feet of snow.

Jason
Just got back from Red Lodge, took a picture of what looks like it might be a car.It was on the street so I assumed it was a car.Maybe it's just a 6 foot high snow drift. http://www.huetheronline.org/vbb/redlodgecar.jpg

VeganEssentials
Thanks for the sad reminder of the big change in weather that's coming too soon Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a BIT of winter, but these last two years have made me want to pack up and leave Wisconsin sooner than later. I've had it with shovelling 12 times in one season and dealing with constant sub-zero temperatures like we did the past few winters. What happened to those winters I remember growing up, where it snowed just two or three times, where we had plenty of 30-40 degree days during the season as well? Life during winter was better when I actually wanted to learn how to snowboard and looked foward to snow outside. Now, it just gets me down having to trek through it every day. Lena01
Yes, Canada gets brutal. Last year I got stuck at Trois Rivieres in Quebec because of the snow. Then when I came to New Brunswick I realized the banks were taller than me.
hsorlando
Here in Orlando, Florida we're having a bit of a cool spell. At night it's been in the 60s and during the day it's been in the mid 70s-low 80s.
