What Foods Make You Weak In The Knees

Recommended Posts

I have this posted on my website but I'll repost it here.

This is my "I-Don't-Wanna-Cook-Or-Diet-Pasta"

Feeds 2 Gluttons

2 bags Trader Joes Penne Arrabbiata

1 1/2 Tofurky Italian Sausages sliced up

Put frozen pasta into a large skillet. Add sliced Tofurky Italian Sausages. Cook until heated thoroughly. Turn off heat and add a GOB of Original flavored Veganaise. Don't hold back! Add alot.

lightly toast some vegan sourdough. Then slather with Nucoa margarine and garlic powder. Finish off in a toaster oven or regular oven.

Pour a glass of red Vegan wine.

Sit down on the couch with a DVD preparing not to get up unless its for another glass of wine. Ah hell... just bring the bottle and set it down beside you.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although it will be tough for you to return to the land of health tomorrow.... it may be well worth it. My daughter and I are still talking about this feast. And no, I didn't give her any wine!

Wow, seems like a lot of you enjoy sweets and baaaaad carbs. Most things I crave or love are raw even though I cook a lot. I'd say just a fresh pineapple would be my drooling want. But ya gotta remember food does nothing for me, but supply me with my nutrients. Vegan pasta and my vegan cookies would be next.

I definitely think there are foodies and non-foodies. Non-foodies like yourself could take or leave food. That is why you have such a great physique... it's not a struggle to avoid all of the things on this thread. Others struggle with it alot.

BUT ENOUGH OF THAT.... BACK TO THE EVIL, DECADENT FOODS!!!

KEEP 'EM COMIN PEOPLE!!!!!!

talking about raw, I'd like to see some raw foodists blogging here. I know it's gonna be healthier than most of the stuff mentioned above, but maybe more caloric, with all the almonds, walnuts, etc. Things like pacan pies, strawberry raw cakes, or raw hummus, Mmm...

Stuff I listed here is like my favourite junk food, that I could easily eat way too much of. But I avoid most of it pretty successfully most of the time, just a matter of will power. If I let myself go nuts and eat whatever I felt like, I'd be back to being really overweight like I used to be

Yeah, totally.

I'm thinking most of us who posted here who are into fitness couldn't get away with consuming these foods regularly.

But since all we talk about is diet, health and training, I wanted a thread where we get really NAUGHTY... with food fantasies that is!!!

The figure competitor boards always have a food porn thread filled with pictures of sinful desserts that they're not allowed to touch for months while dieting for competitions.

I wanted one like that here. I'm hoping we could keep this thread going for awhile...

So at least for this thread.... lets all bathe in a tub of Veganaise, french fries and Vegan Triple Chocolate Ice Cream, shall we (okay, maybe not all in the same bathtub)

Even if we could, like not gaining any bodyfat, most of us wouldn't want to eat only this, we know it wouldn't be very healthy because it's poor in vitamins and minerals, most of people on this forum care about their health.

I think corn syrup is more vegan than refined sugar.

I heard coca-cola isn't vegan or maybe it was pepsi? also watch out for candies most of them contain gelatin or E-numbers...

coca cola is vegan in sweden but fanta isn't, it contains fish gelatine bt they don't write it on the label.

dude i keep real good track of the candy that i eat with gelatine and of course the e-numbers. i work in a vegetarian organic supermarket so that's where i buy most of my candy.

the reason i'm wondering is because some of the stores around here has started selling imported vanilla coke (which i love) but it's made with hfcs and i don't know how it is refined. they also have mountain dew and stuff like that.

Well I eat really clean outside of Tofu, but on a Free day I indulge in.

Vegan Nachos and French Fries

And way too many Margaritas

Anything made from the potato is a weakness, but I have controlled my love for the spud pretty good over the last 5 years

Other foods I have to be careful of are fresh Cashew Butter and Almond Butter, vegan chocolate and icecream. But I just don't keep these foods in the house, once in a while I will buy a small amount and split it with the kids.

I can gain fat by just looking at food I swear lol

Oh brother... can't we have one thread where we all just have a little fun and DREAM about some foods we all know are bad for us? This thread is just dreaming about foods we sometimes eat, used to eat or think about eating occastioally.

I'd like to get through one thread and have it be light-hearted and silly without any Vegan Police. THANKS!!!!
