  2. most of us know about casein in soycheeses. and there are plenty of vegan soycheeses to be found, including some that "melt"
  3. You can put a mixture of cold pressed sunflower oil, and sunflower seeds in a food processor and it will make a nut butter. what is a food processor?
  4. i enjoy: vega protein supplement powder hemp protein powder nuts
  5. is there a way to take sunflower seeds and turn them into nut-butter? like peanutbutter, but with sunflower seeds? or is there a way to mash em all up and have them in protein smoothies? for some reason i cant get myself to eat more than a handful of these things.
  6. okay so ive been going thru extreme moods from detoxin' and my body has been getting weak and dizzy. i thought maybe i need to eat processed foods since i am poor and cant afford to buy the correct amount of fruits to get the calories my body craves. and once I have money to eat raw properly id go back to that because i am ultra skinny right now and being skinny is causing me problems. so ive been eating thomas' bagels, tomato soup, amys organic chili, and silk chocolate soymilk. taking in close to 4,000 calories daily and 130-150g protein the protein feels good and the healthy omega fats. but now heres the thing: -my body wants to sleep all the time and i have no energy -i am broken out EVERYWHERE -my farts/poop smells volatile -constipated -i feel very slothy -i have trouble thinking clearly I eat all those calories like fluff and am still hungry. yet when im raw i can barely force myself to eat 2,000 calories and my body craves certain fruits and whatnot. but with eating cooked foods and higher protein intake, i can muscle fastly. with being raw i dont, i guess its cause i still have to keep detoxing right? and all i did was make the process longer by giving in to processed foods? Okay so back to raw foods for me I guess.
  7. haha yes is has. Cool! i see you live in philly. im moving there in the next month and half. hoping to bulk up since im back to being skinny, (i couldnt afford to eat proper) . perhaps you and i could lift together or something.

  9. 5 pounds of muscle a week for 2 months? Dude, I don't doubt that you put on 40lbs of weight in 2 months, however what was your BF% during that time and do you have any progress photos? My opinion probably doesn't mean crap to you, however I don't believe you. body fat was like 2%. its when i first went vegan. i put pics up on this site and veganfitness.net when i first joined. thats how i won the back attack contest on this site and overall athlete. its cause i gained an amazing amount of muscle in no time.
  10. word. i wish i could but i have zero dollars right now. gonna end up getting second hand bikes. used ones. im big into recycling.
  11. raw sunflower seeds are only $1.79 here in denver at Wholefoods. and I get 20% discount thanks to gf working at store. there's about 110g protein and about 3,100 calories in a bag. I am gonna attempt to eat one bag everyday so i can bulk up. I am poor and this is the best cost effective solution for me. I am also gonna eat whatever fruits i can afford. mainly bananas and apples or pears and berries. watermelon too.
  12. avoid fruits that say they are seedless. that doesnt make any sense to me. how can something continue to grow if there are no seeds to reproduce?

  15. haha word. yeh i can get like 60% off the storebrand bicycles.and i think 30% off name brand? beats me. but i will def have to buy a bicycle sometime in near future, cause i hate cars and never want to have one again. im gonna get a road bike so i can commute long distances to jobs and shows and stuff

    the movie looks horrible and i hate movies that just have eye candy. but the training story was rad and i enjoyed reading it.
  18. no stress here. i work at a bicycle shop near denver, and the whole store runs off of wind power. i never knew how competitive cycling was until today. i love riding a bicycle but i never got into riding it other than for transportation/fun.
  19. what can i pour in my smoothie that's raw? (aside from water)
  20. i gained 40 lbs of muscle in 2 months when i first went vegan. i used to no multivitamins and no protein supplements. i just ate like crazy and lifted heavy. the trick is to take in a lot of calories to gain weight.
  21. yeh,, my bestfriend is in the US army and is stationed in vilseck, thats why id be there. but plans always change for me. so i might not end up moving there. who knows. we'll see what happens
