  1. I finally got these burned on to a DVD jonzen's and Kathryn's will go out tomorrow. If anybody else wants a copy, let me know. Next I'll get some of the other speakers burned to DVD
  2. The key codes are there on a pc too. On windows you use the ctrl key to give these commands and on a mac you use the command key (the one with the apple symbol on it). I can see how it is confusing Those weird key codes are timesavers, especially when using Photoshop. I wish that I could remember more of them.
  3. Yeah, that machine is showing it's age. It would still function fine for internet and simple tasks. Definitely wouldn't hold up to the new games. I still occasionally use my old 300MHz (96MB RAM) laptop. But only when we install a new digital copier/printer on a network.
  4. I've wondered if you were an Apple fan since the first time I saw your avatar I wish Apple would sell just the OS so I could install it on my computer. It must be at least a 1.5 GHz computer. That's still very usable except for the latest games. What's the model number? Usually 4 digits on the front. The restore CD will bring it back to the day it was new. But like I said earlier, everything!! you put on there will be gone!! I don't know how much of a computer geek you are. Building your own can get you a better computer than a name brand. You won't save any money, and most likely will spend a little more. But it should run much better.
  5. If all the programs you need were available for the Mac, then Mac might be the best choice. There is so much more software available for Windows machines. I have friends who are diehard Mac/Linux geeks. One even has "Mac Guru" on his car's license plates. They also have a high end Windows machine because they are also gamers. How old is your computer? What CPU speed? RAM? Windows 98, ME, or XP? A slow death is usually Windows being infected, and nothing wrong with the computer. Restoring Windows from the CDs that came with the computer should fix this problem. If you don't already know, using the restore CDs will delete all your files on your computer. You will need to back up everything and start over. Make sure you read the previous 2 lines twice. There are many free programs that will help keep your computer clean. Kids on the internet can usually get them infected no matter what protection you have installed. One click on the wrong popup is all it takes. We've also had Norton/Symantec and McAffee be the cause a lot lately.
  6. I've used this for pie crust, everybody that tries it likes it. 2 cups walnuts ground up in food processor. 12 Medjool dates ground up in food processor. Do walnuts first, then add dates
  7. I don't think that zoos need to be bad. We have a small local zoo. I've never been there though. I have been to the ZooMontana website. Some of the animals are rescued. It would be nice if all the animals were rescued. Sadly, Wendy's is one of the major sponsors.

I did a search for organic athlete from that page. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=OrganicAthlete There were 17 matches A couple names I recognized were Joel Fuhrman and Brendan Brazier I'm downloading some of the larger mpg2 videos now to put on DVD.
  11. I am going to my Mom's house for Thanksgiving. There will be a dead bird on the table. Probably parts of a dead pig also. Sadly my mother is very overweight and on Atkins again. She says it's the only diet that works for her. Obviously it hasn't worked for her, but I kept my mouth shut. I'm taking my own food, a mixture of raw and cooked food. I will be making some raw deserts, everybody will like them. There was a small sign of hope during our conversation a few days ago. I told her that if she ate like I eat, she may be able to get off some pills. She takes a fistful of pills everyday and has side effects. She seemed genuinely interested after that.
  12. He is the Mad Cowboy He got sued with Oprah by the Texas cattlemen. And he's from Montana.
  13. Great article about Superman. Or is it Spiderman? It can be translated into English, or many other languages with Babelfish. http://babelfish.altavista.com/ It doesn't translate perfect, but it's easy to figure out what it means. Copy the link to the article and translate it. http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/inhalt/28/0,1872,3999484,00.html

  18. Mostly football and baseball. A little basketball, not much hockeyball. I've got less than 10 from the 1800s About the same from 1900-1930 All are tobacco cards. Probably the biggest name from the 1800s is Buffalo Bill Cody. A bunch of different athletes were packaged with baseball players. Shooting was considered a sport I guess. Most of my cards are from the 1930s-1960s
  19. I have a collection of old sports cards also. Mostly from the 1800s through the 1960s.
  20. Vega's online brochure says the bars are 100% raw. and "30% of protein is raw and alkaline for easy digesting" in the powder.

  24. Thanks, I'm going to give more reps with less weight a try for a while. Tomorrow morning I will start my 3x8 with a pause at the bottom sets More tricep work may help, I've been neglecting them for months. During the summer, I got severe forearm pain. Wrist curls, bicep curls or tricep extensions really hurt my forearms. I've replaced wrist curls with gripper work. I keep the bicep curls at 40# per arm or less. I was hoping that benching would at least help with the triceps. I'm a beginner lifter, I appreciate everybody's help
